I'm pretty disappointed right now. Had high hopes of getting in top two. It especially hurts to see Minny get the pick since they had the most losses and to also see Lakers who are such a lucky franchise get the 2nd pick. But like a real new yorker I just gotta suck it up and move on. The fourth pick the knicks have to hope that maybe Russell drops to them if not they have to decide if Mudiay is worth the gamble or if they are better off trading the pick. That's what its going to come down to now.

My post in the post-game thread when we won 2 in a row at the end of the season...

FU Fisher. FU Mills. We should've had Emmy Rossum there to rep us.

Been hyped on those two all season, not to mention you also got Winslow who could be like a Kawhi or Jimmy Butler?

We're more than good.

I seem to remember us complaining about wanting a guaranteed top four selection. Well, we're top four. That has proven to be empty talk. We're the only team that didn't hold its spot in the lottery. The failure of this Phil Jackson move and the Donnie Walsh deja vu is incredible. Hmmm, we're not so attractive saying to free agents we've got the number 4 pick. Phil's arrogance is being punished here. Yeah us. We're always going to come up short. Trying to get out the lottery with untested point guards. Eeek.

They both desperately need a center.

Lakers will get Okafor just like we all knew they always would

Seriously.

I have no words. Sadly, this is what came out the most in all of the simulations I ran, we were most likely to pick 4th and we did. Does it suck? Yes it does, and again a late season win(s) costs this franchise. Who the hell keeps screwing up the game plan?

Tanking means losing you don't win meaningless games.

Whatever man.

I want to pick Justise Winslow, he is the dude I think can be the biggest difference maker as a two way player after the big two are taken off the god damn board.

I said it in the other thread. Trade down with Denver. We get #7 and their 1st next year and they get #4 and Jose Calderon.
Take WCS at 7 and move on.

You can't really be pissed. 4th pick was the single most likely one. The odds were 50-50 of being in the top 3 versus last two. No surprise really. Just not great luck. We're used to that.

didn't phil & mills have a town meeting and claim they weren't trading the pick. and around here, all i heard was the pick was gonna save the franchise. it's funny to me how quickly it's going in the other direction.

It's also going to be funny is how quickly people around here will start finding more and more holes in Okafor/Towns/Russell's games.

Let's be honest, there was no way Mills was going to get the first pick. Phil should of been there, use so of his zen voodoo sh*t he always talks about

People need to understand why we are in this predicament in the first place.

Those stupid stupid wins at the end of the season cost us an unbelievable amount of equity in this lottery.

We have our coach to blame for that.

Those won't die anytime soon, way too early to call an end to those debates.
