I also love how KP is now the most untouchable player in the NBA. GTFO.

I hate to take it here because I know it's a sensitive subject, and that if you say anything at all in support of Trump, you'll be labeled a racist by many...

But you're god damn right Trump is right.

There are many parallels between Trump and Phil. Like... they are weirdly similar.

Both inexperienced as President, but both trying to bring about significant change where significant change is needed. Media feverishly against both of them, while the people obey and follow the narrative. Both wrongly accused of being racist. Both have Twitter fingers. Lol. I could go on and on.

I hate politics and hate basically any politician that ever lived, and people should know that I'm not some type of super right-wing, die-hard Trump guy. I'm more of a conspiracist theorist. Super anti-establishment, anti-corporate media. And those are the reasons I sympathize with Trump at all. Also many of the reasons I sympathize with Phil. I see the media and all the sheep rallying against someone, and I tend to side with the guy being unfairly ganged up on.

If you can't see that there's an agenda against Phil, I don't know what to tell ya. But it makes me pissed. Especially with Dolan putting the final touches on his latest album, waiting to head back to his perch at the Garden...

Yup I agree Woj never breaks stories before others. That guy needs to get a scoop once in a while.

No...you misunderstood why I said that. Perhaps I didn't finish through on the thought. Nobody reported it yesterday and then all of the sudden EVERYONE had sources and was reporting on it. You would think if they had information they also would have said so. Begley couldn't tweet fast enough just after Woj's article. And, as I mentioned yesterday, Woj has a history of hit pieces on the Knicks.

Whatever the truth is Phil has failed to lead this offseason, rumors swirl, team doesn't communicate with players, no obvious direction besides Triangle, we look more chaotic than ever. Can't wait for Dolan to break off his engagement with Phil.

Carmelo isn't speaking up for himself when it comes to Phil, yet Kristaps wants to get involved? I guess he wasn't taught never fight/speak for a person that won't fight/speak for themselves.

What would Kristaps do if tomorrow Carmelo and Phil take a picture lounging and smoking cigars in Los Angeles?

Everything's got to be about Carmelo right? That's all it could be right?

What else could it be about then?

Phil doesn't want Kristaps' first love on the team anymore.

Apparently you weren't around the season we traded an unprotected first round pick for the great Andrea Bargnani. Or when we traded away multiple unprotected picks to sign and trade for the great Eddy Curry. Or when our President/GM was involved in a multi-million dollar sexual harassment lawsuit. But that triangle man...CHAOS! Seems to me we are actually picking a direction finally...Phil is on record that he wants to trade Melo, we seem to be keeping this pick, which means we will build around the young guys using the triangle offense. Seems pretty clear cut to me.

You do realize other organizations could be the ones starting these rumors, right?

Hornacek said he reached out to Kristaps and he didn't get a response.

The Knicks look more choatic because that is the image the media wants you to see.

What happened since Phil's exit meeting for the media to talk non-stop about the Knicks up to a day before the draft?

Every story coming out since Phil's exit meeting is because of Kristaps and his brother.

“I was talking to one of our players the other day, a free agent, and we were looking at our options,” one agent said. “And it used to be, ‘Yeah, get me to New York.’ Even when they were struggling, there are guys who want to be in the city. But he was saying, ‘no, no, not that environment, not now.’ They’re not just alienating their own players, they’re alienating all players. They’re making things hard on themselves there.”

Phil would change the culture tho...

$$$ talks. This anonymous agent would tell his anonymous player to pack his bags to NYC asap if the right offer was made.

And it's all BS anyway since we were Grant Hill'd in the past by many different players long before Phil was even here.

The thought that suddenly the Knicks are no longer a location players want to be is a lie.

Carl_Karlson wrote:Phil asking for 4 unprotected firsts essentially means he's not shopping him because no one is really paying that price for KP. Maybe 2 firsts and a young player. But 4? Come on. KP is going nowhere. He's the only thing Phil has done right

Idk man, KP seems like the exact guy Boston should be dumping all their picks for. Cheap contract and won't eat the salary cap, can contribute on an almost ALL-Star level right away, only 21, pair him with a signing of Hayward, and your ready to roll.

Ainge should be offering, the #3 and next years BKN right off the bat imo. and I wouldn't put it past them to wait til the last minute to ante up for him.
