how many mocks had the knicks drafting trae young last season? if any draft was unpredictable after the first pick it would be this one.

you can’t find a post of me calling frank the pg of the future for the knicks but I rocked that sig proudly with no regrets. mute point since they both sucked on this team and garland is better then both of them and ja.

In fairness fam I think Garland will bring a nice change of pace PG alongside DSJ. Garland is also good as an offensive threat off the ball and I can see him playing alongside DSJ in certain stretches.

Am a fan of 2PG lineups and if we strike out in FA and have to rev up that tank I hope we roll out a two PG lineup with a 3&D wing as well as Knox and Mitch playing the Melo and Tyson roles back in 2013.

Yeah I hear you. I don't think Garland is a bad prospect but I am not so sure that picking another PG who will play besides DSJ or Kyrie for certain stretches is a good idea IMO. Cause I feel like we should just go for someone else who can be a starter at another position instead of picking Garland who will basically be a 6th man for us. There's also gonna be games where Kyrie or DSJ gets hot and Garland will be basically planted on the bench. It's like what we seen when Mudiay gets hot, DSJ is on the bench and we get mad :lol:

If we are trading down for someone in the same range as Garland then I personally would look into someone like Romeo Langford. He can our starting SG. I still like him. Actually think he's being kinda slept on tbh

don’t think teams will have the balls to pass on rj or ja in the top 3 (even though I would) but I could absolutely see him going 4/5. honestly don’t see him dropping past 6 he’s going to set gyms on fire during his workouts with his shooting.
