If you listen to Mitch talk about the game you question his dedication to it. Seems more like a hobby to him than his actual profession. Let's just say he's not a "student of the game".

Why are you applauding that?

The Pelicans never did anything wrong to him.

He acted like a manchild by going through backchannels and having his agent demand trades instead of communicating with the team, then he shut himself down and quit on his team until he was traded. The Pelicans never did him dirty. He did them dirty. At least they got a good haul out of it.

There's been multiple moments of this.

Someone asked him about Dikembe Mutombo - he had no clue.

Marcus Camby - no clue.

Wilt Chamberlain (they brought up the stat of him having the highest FG% in a season of all time) - no clue.

If you think Knicks ever had a chance to land AD and match that return the Pelicans got for him then LOL

Pelicans ownership was pissed at the Lakers organization so I believe the Lakers would have had to give more relative to other teams.

That being said I think the issue raised was whether one had considered Mitch untouchable in an AD trade which I have to admit that I did for the reasons I had discussed in my previous post.

Four, and he's the first to win one with three different teams.

Had the Clippers won this year (and Kawhi won MVP) he would have been the first to do it.

If the Knicks had gotten KD/Kyrie healthy or another big star (Butler?) and had the opportunity to get AD they should have done it. Get him alone and it would have been another Melo situation.

Pels getting Zion kind of put the kibosh on it all though. We didn't have the pieces.

I'm happy for Rondo. It's a blasphemy Mitchell & Ness haven't released his authentic throwback.

Beside Rajon, that entire Lakers team can burn in hell though.

Did I miss any KnicksGod Lebron Slander?

I think cements LeBron's status as Top 3 in the all time rankings. Don't know how many more years of LBJ we have left but appreciate it.

We will never see another player like him.
