Cole thoroughly outplayed LaMelo in their back to back.

Even if LaMelo had more points in the last game.

I was expecting LaMelo to struggle but I didn't expect Cole to thrive this early. Another demerit on my 2020 prognostications board.

Cole has the genetics. The question was his shot selection and I thought. I did wonder about his BB IQ though.

I didn't like his shot selection and his reckless style during the season. But he apparently now has enough intelligence to adjust. We always see this with college kids - They are no longer the star, not having to carry a team, which sometimes involved having bad shot selection for whatever reason, and now have something to prove and want to fit.

We should trade for him before he really bursts into the scene. I've been saying he's the one for a year now and to me, the talent has always been too much to overlook. He'll become a franchise level player and just in case Orlando doesn't know yet, we need to act. They've got Fultz who will only become a great fit next to him, but if they are content letting one go, we need to be there and get the other asap.

We shall see. I've failed to see that talent for a year, bbbbbut he scored 100 on breakaway layups against toddlers and looked ok in a really bad league, so who knows.

No, he's been decent since his first day in NBA. No, he is not Ja or Luka, but he's got other qualities - extremely good defender, great passer, sets a good tempo with high IQ plays and involves everyone into the game.

Maybe not too great for second overall pick but still decent. He is being called bust because of Lavar's big mouth and the Lakers fans that wanted Ja or Luka type of player.

Bad comp. Gobert only gets that money because it’s Utah, which is basically the polar opposite as NYC in terms of geography, culture and operations.

The Knicks do not value brand loyalty and have little vested interest in creating their own culture from the ground up. Dolan would flip Mitch in a heartbeat for a shinier new toy just to keep the illusion alive that NYC and the Knicks are still the cool kid destination everybody wants. They won’t commit $200m to anyone unless he has major star power for the simple fact it would eat cap for their dream to sign the next Starphking target. Maybe RJ has that potential (seems unlikely) but definitely not Mitch.

Anyone on the Jazz not named Mitchell or Gobert who is good/doesn't suck and is about to get paid?

Because at some point, it might be difficult for them to keep certain rotation guys, and Perrin's familiarity might nab us a decent role player in a year or two.

Yeah, not much to hang the hat on, just a thought.

IQ did actually play in 3 games, in game 2 he had 2 points in 9 mins, 33 pts in 3 games 11ppg. had he played more minutes in that game he almost certainly would have topped that list though

He ain’t coming here if we don’t show marked improvement this season.. the Knicks are currently avoided at all cost by meaningful NBA players

a bit comical that Ainge has been so hesitant to part with his youth and picks but would do it for harden.

But we all know he still won't. Then watch an article will come out a few months later saying that Ainge was so close to pulling the trigger.

The max Mitch can get isn’t the same amount Gobert just got. Most Mitch can get is like 25 per I think. Or a little less

kind of hope this is the one he actually pulls the trigger on.

i don't see harden and tatum winning a chip. plus, they would lose brown and a lot of their youth/depth/picks. and racist boston fans will HATE Harden.
