Look at this ****. Instead of firing at each other Democrats need to focus on those two races in Georgia and neuter this evil prick. Don’t complain about the legislation that Biden may or may not pass and the cabinet members that he may or may not appoint if you’re not doing everything in your power to help with those two races in Georgia.

Biden should just appointment members, Trump has shown you don't need to ask the senate.

I look forward to Trump absolutely torpedoing those two Senate races for the GOP. You know he’s going to sulk and be a complete bitch.

He is resentful and will probably blame anybody and everybody for his loss. It definitely could sideline some MAGA voters in GA in the run-offs

I need the Dems not to get those seats in GA. Does anyone know how likely it is the Dems win? R is heavily favored?

I know and it’s because of the idiots here on Trump (Long) Island where I live. That’s what ruined it. We need to put it to a referendum in order to get it done.

I started answering this post 3 hours ago. But correlation does not equal causation.

Some investments will react well to the combination of the Biden win and hopefully Republican senate. Already up nearly 30% from the pre-election lows.

They did say wallstreet is loving this assuming the republicans can keep the senate. They will have a president that wont recklessly tweet that will make the stock market less volatile but then they won't have to worry about large corporate taxes being passed. It's like there dream scenario.

PA sure has their share of rednecks

We're all wondering what the GOP will morph into now. Some in the party are doing a happy dance that Trump is gone, but they are still obviously going to be concerned with how to retain his supporters or to at least not piss them off. On a national level, I see a guy like Mitt Romney licking his chops, but I'm not so sure it is going to go the way he wants it to.

I suspect the protect your guns and ammo meme may get doubled down on as a continued vote getter

Truth is the GOP is better at identifying single issue hot buttons and segmenting their message to pull in those voters

Does that mean anti-abortion, gun rights and anti-immigration will continue to stitch together party participation from single issue voters? I don't know the answer to that, but since many people are fine with leaving Roe vs. Wade intact and want more gun controls it is possible the GOP will need a new approach, not just the Democrats

I have a few Never Trump friends who believe that the one benefit of Trump is ushering in a more populist multi-racial GOP.

I'm skeptical. I think Trump's legacy for the GOP will be having showed them how to exploit people's ignorance without having to fundamentally change anything.

I know Joe got blowback for saying if you're a Republican you ain't black, but I nodded my head in agreement while knowing it was a politically dicey thing to say

I think black Republicans will remain few in influence and I still think they will cotinue to be tokenized by the GOP leadership. They will cede the black vote and focus elsewhere.

Mostly, I see them leaning hard into church-going latinos to expand their ethnic reach. Any enthnicity that can linked to highly traditional social values they will attempt to absorb into the borg.

So I can see some expansion for the GOP possible, because party identity is something that matters more to some people than their origins.

Do I believe it would be a genuine thing? Nah. It is still going to be a party of racism for a good long time. But that doesn't mean it couldn't work. You can turn people of different backgrounds against each other. People have tried to pit the jews vs. blacks in the past and latino vs. black will be their move is my guess

Catholic Latinos are not all republican as most get education and the church does reforms most are dems or independent. I am one my wife is another My parents and family members, ironically the reps in the family all live in Westchester county and NJ and are not church goers by any means.
The best bet to get people onboard with the rep party is to end the rhetoric and actually do something for people, most indians I know are reps if they can vote.

I really couldn't give a simple phuk about the stock market right now. The Democrats need to put Mitch McConnell in his place and make him a permanent Minority Leader. He's done more damage than any political figure in modern history.

Well, a Mitch McConnell-led republican Senate would only ensure that nothing gets done again. Yeah, it would mean that your capital gains tax rate will not go up. Enjoy your extra dough while the world comes apart from economic strife, more pandemics, and our ultimate demise from climate change.

Yes, it helps Wall Street but doesn't help Main Street. McConnell won't let Democrat bills even get a floor vote. America has fallen too far in love with the almighty stock market both for purposes of income and as the barometer of the economic state of our country. But, just like the price of gasoline, it really isn't.

We have too many programs that need being funded in order to allow large corporations continue to get tax breaks and subsidies on top of an already-low tax rate. Btw, there are never enough tax cuts for the corps and the top 1% because greed knows no boundaries. Rich people will even tell you that. Oil companies have already come out publicly saying "We don't need the oil subsidies and we already told these guys (i.e. republicans) but they keep giving them to us!"
