Faith baffles me to this day. Been a Rollercoaster my whole life - from fear to anger to tolerance to envy/jealousy to thinking its romantic. But I could never make the leap myself.

I get why people have to believe in a higher power, it's the need to feel as if there's purpose or reason to life

To me, I don't need that because I'm comfortable with not having a grand purpose or reason. I'm just gonna be me

And if at the end of the day, I die and am judged unworthy by a god for not devoting my life to them, that's a being I wouldn't want to worship anyways.

How is a deal both "agreed upon" and "not done"

haggling over future protections? maybe players and picks but sometimes protections are the last thing to haggle over...especially if knicks are sending like 2027 and 2029 I doubt we are sending both completely unprotected.

Still haggling =/= agreement

If I tell the dealership that I plan to buy the car but they have to throw in some mats and they say no, then we're still negotiating.

It's just a weird categorization

yeah maybe the wording is a bit off because its a 3rd party explaining what someone else is reporting.

I think you can ultimately agree to a framework picks/players...but then just some small haggling on protections that usually won't torpedo a deal. We shall see how legit this guy is.

I don't have anything against Christians in general, except for the part where they went around and rewrote a bunch of religions to the point where it's impossible to tell what the original context for said myths were or even if they were originally stories told by that culture or added afterwards by the monks. Also the crusades. And the whole altar boy molestation thing. Really, anything to do with organized religion is a hard no from me, individual people are usually fine.

If you strip away all the mythological aspects of religion, their cores are still great philosophies to live life by. Its just too bad that its not taught that way and instead leans into those myths to sell their faith.

I think it means that the Jazz are committed to getting the deal finished with us, as in the rest of the league is out. Which would make sense since the reporting was the Ainge was canvassing the rest of the league for counter offers this week.

Now it seems the real good faith negotiations are happening as opposed to the posturing that was going on before from both sides.

Could also be waiting on approval from owners, maybe Leon needs to approve, agreed upon, just waiting approval may have been the correct wording

agreed upon a deal seems like pretty strong language to just committed to negotiating with the knicks. If this report is accurate and I'm not sure how much I think its got to be farther along than that to say the deal is essentially agreed upon.
