I've thought a more creative coach could also maximize Randle and minimize his shortcomings more than Thibs who has also failed to hold Randle accountable when he's going off the rails or not playing any D.

Real question: how much longer are we stuck watching him coach the Knicks?

He's here through next season when his five year deal ends. He'll be 67-68

Pops is 74 so age may not factor into whether he is resigned. If this FO is intact there's a good chance he'll be resigned

I don't imagine Thibs would want to do anything else so I expect him to be looking for a new deal

Just read an article about the Warriors‘ bad drafting. It’s an interesting perspective. What I think is even more interesting however is the idea of trading for Moody and Kuminga. The Warriors need change and we need a SF and backup PF. In a peripheral move I’d trade them Fournier and Hartenstein for them. Losing Hartenstein stings but something’s gotta give. We’d get younger, more athletic, while the Warriors shore up their frontline and probably improve at SG. I think we should rather play Fournier, but since we don’t, we might as well do something.
