I've thought a more creative coach could also maximize Randle and minimize his shortcomings more than Thibs who has also failed to hold Randle accountable when he's going off the rails or not playing any D.

Real question: how much longer are we stuck watching him coach the Knicks?

He's here through next season when his five year deal ends. He'll be 67-68

Pops is 74 so age may not factor into whether he is resigned. If this FO is intact there's a good chance he'll be resigned

I don't imagine Thibs would want to do anything else so I expect him to be looking for a new deal

Thank you for the info.

Pops is a living legend, championship guy.

Thibs was rescued from the unemployment line after doing squat with the Wolves.

I can last maybe another year watching him "coach"...but not any more.

I'm praying for a coaching change after next season. We can offer a good roster for a top coach who wants to be here.

If we are doing well, it will be a promotion from within our staff.

Seems like a good dude, player development is his forte.... doesn't sound like offensive scheme would gain much...

Draymond shooting like he's wearing a backback remains the greatest basketball observation I've ever come across.

he was on fire at the start of the game and is shooting great overall this season.... YET him taking a three with the game on the line is still wild.

Just read an article about the Warriors‘ bad drafting. It’s an interesting perspective. What I think is even more interesting however is the idea of trading for Moody and Kuminga. The Warriors need change and we need a SF and backup PF. In a peripheral move I’d trade them Fournier and Hartenstein for them. Losing Hartenstein stings but something’s gotta give. We’d get younger, more athletic, while the Warriors shore up their frontline and probably improve at SG. I think we should rather play Fournier, but since we don’t, we might as well do something.

Odd use of the word "finally".

Obi is leading the NBA in 2pt FG% at 77.4%, with a slash line of 61/36/81.

The last 10 games have been even better: 16 PPG, 65/42/76.

But hey, Randle is averaging 20 PPG! ...while taking 17 shots per game with terrible efficiency 41/28/70

Obi is averaging a whooping 13 points per game and has a defensive rating of 123.1

and he's averaging 3 rebounds a game and 1.3 assists per game

yall love to stan role players that play ZERO defense and rebounds softer than bargnani. go back to the pacers board, since your profile says the pacers is your favorite team. sad.

Randle's last 10 games: 23.3 PPG 9.9 RPG 6.1 APG. Knicks record 7-3
Obi's last 10 games: 16.2 PPG 2.6 RPG 2.0 APG Pacers record 5-5

Randle's defensive rating for the season: 109.6
Obi's defensive rating for the season: 123.1

so much for obi being such a great defensive player that is leading his team to wins. the facts hurt the obi lovers here.
