before the year most drafts had him 2nd

That's what I'm saying. I'm not heartbroken with the fourth pick. The 5th would have killed me because I always saw this as the first 4 and then a drop off. Now if Phil fu*ks around and trades the pick for some basura package...I don't think I'll be able to live on this planet anymore.

don't worry, planet is doomed anyway. thanks isiah.

He kinda reminds me of Elfrid Payton personally. A little more dynamic though.

I read a mix of Wall and Holiday. The defensive potential is through the roof on this guy

I don't see Wall in him at all.

I think he could be at least semi-great but I'm glad we don't have to take Okafor. But that's basically been my position all along so not trying to spin it. I think that guy is a risk.

But the problem is two-fold: 1. We'll likely get the worst between Russell and Mudiay. You are all saying it'll be Mudiay but he could still move up. 2. Phil doesn't want Mudiay -- defensive, driving non-shooter. Not his guy. Three -- if you add that we need to win now with Melo -- so a rookie point is probably not the way to go.

X Plan A: Make the playoffs with the current roster

X Plan B: Tank the season and rebuild around Melo and the top draft pick

O Plan C: Make sh*t up as we go along

I'm just gonna say Minnesota doesn't deserve the #1 pick. The city doesn't love basketball like LA, Philly or NY. They've drafted Wesley Johnson, Johnny Flynn...Derrick Williams...the list continues. Awarding them the best player...just doesn't seem balanced. Oh well, they'll continue be a lottery team in the stacked WC. Lavine is overrated, Bennett is a bust, Rubio is the worst shooter at his position. I guess Okafor or Towns will save their asses. I hope they never see the playoffs for the next 10 years...yea I know what Im writing is hateful....but its just genuine honesty....f the TWolves.

4 is good. Do your homework. Get a damn good player. Don't fcking trade it.

Every time I did one of those lotto sims I got the 4th pick, even when we were in last place. It was even more likely when we dropped to 2nd. We said we wanted top 4 and thats what we got. Id say the tank was successful considering nobody thought wed ever get a pick this high when the year started.

It stings that the Wolves won after they took our spot, but you damn well know we would have still dropped to fourth if we were in their place . F*ck the Lakers though I hope Jah gets pregnant.

All sarcasm and snide remarks aside, you better be thanking Isiah for having Jimmy D's ear. Cuz if is voice means anything, YOU KNOW he's gonna be telling Dolan to make sure Phil DOES NOT trade that 4th pick for no WCS or Porzingis/Hezonja. Isiah will tell him take one of those 2 guards (Russell/Mudiay) and run! Phil, I'm not so sure. Isiah just might be good for what th fans currently wants. Oh, how the worm turns!

Russell will be picked by the Sixers. Laker going whomever the Twolves don't pick out of Okafor/Towns. Mudiay, Winslow, euros are our options. Could be worse, but not much.
