"No way"? Mills has already said tonight that the team will consider all options including seeing what they can get for the pick. I don't think you can draw a line in the sand without knowing what offers are on the table.

I've been on the Russell bandwagon for months and the fact that we'll likely see him picked one slot before us is gonna hurt...

Hope Mudiay is in the gym getting shots up as we speak...

We'll get Russell...the Knicks can't be this cursed. It's always darkest before the dawn

But we don't know how long until dawn arrives.

Ironically enough, Marbury. Except he's not as crazy or as selfish.

Hmmmmm. Any chance Mudiay becomes like Paul with developing great shooting?

From what I have seen/heard he is way more like Wall/Westbrook

They told me here he is not as athletic as them, and I know he cant shoot too pfffffff

I wish D'Angelo give an ultimatium to Sixers, might happen that you know

I can't even see Phil taking Mudiay at 4 with the Big 3 off the board...he's trading this pick, whether for an established player, or down for additional assets. Worst case is he decides to keep the pick and draft WCS or Kaminsky.

So pissed.

Just take Mudiay/Russel and call it a day. It's freaking simple.

Nah. Russ will be gone and Manny I don't want. Trade the damn pick.

You just want us to trade down so you can see Oubre in a Knicks jersey.

I'm more concerned with how well he sees the court and what kind of passer he is. Is he the kind of player who will he make the other players on the team better?

I could totally see them taking Mudiay though as well. Mudiay fits what they are building over there pretty well.

Idk, they've been long rumored with Russell and he balances their team better. I think he'd be their pick and there's a dropoff after the top 3 imo. Mudiay has a lot of question marks and holes. Man I'm bummed we can't get Russell. He's a star.

If I was Mudiay, I would rather get drafted by the Sixers than the Knicks. The Sixers play at a fast pace, run more pick and rolls than we do and he can really develop there with no pressure on him or the team to be good. His game won't be neutered by the triangle or by Melo. Russell is more built for New York and can find his place in the triangle easier than Mudiay will

mugzi wrote:Oh yeah he got Marburys approval that astute judge of talent. GTFOH. Take Winslow with the 4th pick. We cant wait 3 years to see if Mudiay develops a jumper. If Galloway actually could shoot then it might not be a bad risk, at least Winslow can shoot, play sg ANDhas Jimmy Butler/Kawai potential.

uh...yes we can wait. 3 years isnt even a long time....most prospects develop within 3 seasons so we have to wait anyway to get the best out of who ever we draft. Waiting is the reason why the NYK fanbase community gets a bad rep. Impatience shows weakness
Enough of these panic strategies. Knicks need to take their team and build a real franchise.

Winslow is a good 3pt shooter, but has been suspect from mid range. I like Winslow a lot too, but anyone who doubts Mudiay simply doesn't have enough information on him to know what they're talking about.

We'll just have to wait and see.
