I think you misunderstand us. We are saying Dallas High balled him.

I've seen people say the Knicks low balled him, that's hard to misunderstand.
The Knicks offered him more guaranteed money than typically is offered an undrafted FA who had just one good SL game. If someone wants to say they should have tried to up the offer to something that matched what Dallas did, that's another matter.
Although the initial offer wasn't a low ball, Dallas' offer was an overpay on potential and it may work out for them in the end but the criticism of the Knicks 'low balling' has no merit.
If all things were equal though, as far as him willing to come here for the same money, then a few extra thousand bones isn't enough to lose him over for me. The guy most likely will not cut it in the league, but he has undeniable physical tools and skills that made him different than most SLers. Being at a small school could have concealed him.
There's a reason Dallas scooped him up, despite "only 1 good game". I gave him an ocular pat down, and he passed my scouting test. Athletic, long, good attitude, plays very hard, defends multiple positions, has some offensive moves, and most of all can actually shoot. Fits the modern NBA perfectly. If all he becomes is a 3/D forward he can have a long career in the league. I would have given him the money. We overpaid DWill, Lou, and Lance and now we're talking about bringing in Boozer, but people are worried about guaranteeing NDour for chump change? With the rising cap? Ehh...
Enough about the Shaman War Chief though. I've said my piece on him. He's got a lot of work to do to stick.
