Has he really learned? At one point early in his career Reddick was statistically one of the worst defenders in the NBA (at any position).

well, yeah. he used to be one of the worst. he was god awful on ORL. but i think towards the end there he got much better (albeit, that's considered adequate by NBA standards). was a duke fan growing up so i recall redick. was awful. but if you watch him, and statistically, he has improved.

of course, if does alleviate some pressure, and helps with confidence, knowing that an elite helping shot blocker and rim protector is right behind you

Yes, I'm not sure of a Knick fan who wouldn't. Chalmers kind of duplicates Galloway's role but that is a minimal issue since he's an expiring and Birdman would fill that back up center spot the Knicks have been looking for just fine.

Although if you don't bring the sauce you don't get the meat up.

That would be cool. Birdman is still better than the B quality centers we've been yapping about, and Chalmers D equals out what Calderon's O is going to provide. Plus we get the bonus of making more Felton jokes knowing he's on the HEAT. Win Win situation!

I would too, both are expiring right? Dont shoot me with a flamethrower but I think Rio can be useful in triangle and Birdman Flyin n Vyin in MSG is DESTINY

I think that rumour might be old news though as Miami were trying desperately to reduce their number of players and accomplished it eventually by cutting Skywalker and trading away Zoran-Napier
