Maybe the in-game performances are explained by the fact that they diligently practice missing 3-pointers?

There's this video on YouTube showing Steph Curry hitting 90 out of 100 3s. Maybe they should take a look at what's possible as a pro...

Edit: 93 lol

When I think about it. I really like what Taj/Bobby bring. More so Taj. But we honestly didn’t need both of them. It’ll definitely deflate the minutes of our younger players..

A lineup of..

Dennis Smith, Jr. — Elfrid Payton
Wayne Ellington — Frank Ntilikina
R.J. Barrett — Kevin Knox
Julius Randle — Marcus Morris
Mitchell Robinson — Taj Gibson

*Ellington starting due to the lack of shot creators/three point threat.
*The bench having a mixture of every aspect. Defense/Penetrating/Passing/Shooting

That one extra PF kind of makes me feel pretty meh over the potential rotations.

Mitchell Rob needs to step up offensively. Dude needs a handle and a jump shot. A simple high post(Horace Grant shot) or pick and pop jumper will do wonders for our offense

Sounds like a great idea. So good that I think maybe the coach and others have also thought of it, too. Let's see what he can do this year - he talked about it so he's thinking about it, as well.

One of the best Frank based post replies I've read from
mitchell gurfield on FANSIDED.

mitchell gurfield a day ago in a reply.

Donnie, all the information reported this summer about Frank was that he was working very hard. We heard it from his trainer in Dallas, Fiz, other Knicks personnel, his agent and finally Frank himself. Last year during his struggles, Fiz said to the media that he was working extremely hard on his game, that the kid was a gym rat. So the information this summer was consistent with Frank's profile. Unless all these people were lying for some reason which I can't fathom, I think we can accept it as the truth. There was consensus and we never heard even one dissenting voice. Finally, all the hard work paid off in China where Frank showed definite improvement. A fact doesn't have to be quantifiable or actually verifiable to be accepted as fact. We know, for instance, it is impossible for a human being to step foot on the sun because long before he reaches it he will burn up. How do we know this? By inference!"

Hear up Fiz!

Notwithstanding all of those offseason weight-lifting pics, he looked out of shape on the court to me.

He couldn't keep up with Davis Bertans running up the court

Dude looked like he was going to fall on his face trying to catch up to Bertans before pointing for somebody to pickup Bertans for him. We aren't talking about some elite level athlete in Bertans here, soooo.....yeah.....

We are however talking about a player that could have helped us tremendously and would have probably been the best value investment into our future this offseason. We can still pay him more next summer I guess (don't know his contract status), but if course we missed out this year since all people see is shiny objects in New York.

What would you be willing to give up for Beal?

What in the world is going on between Fizdale and Trier? Is it (1) he thinks Trier is trash; (2) Trier is hurt; or (3) he already knows that Trier is a big part of the rotation and doesn't need to see anymore from him in preseason?

I like to think it's no. 3, but I haven't read/heard anything about it.

Oh please. Enough talk. Between him, Smith and Fizdale yapping you'd think we were going to be in ECF this season.

Instead of talking to reporters about how much he loves it here after 3 preseason games, maybe he should be practicing his shooting. That's the question one of the reporters should ask him. "Hey RJ, shouldn't you be practicing 3 pointers instead of talking to us?" :D
