I feel like the Knicks maybe should have taken Rondo over Balkman after all. People were big mad about Marcus Williams though.

The Pelicans never did anything wrong to him.

He acted like a manchild by going through backchannels and having his agent demand trades instead of communicating with the team, then he shut himself down and quit on his team until he was traded. The Pelicans never did him dirty. He did them dirty. At least they got a good haul out of it.

This is the way of the modern NBA.

I think cements LeBron's status as Top 3 in the all time rankings. Don't know how many more years of LBJ we have left but appreciate it.

We will never see another player like him.

Until we see another player somewhat like him

How many more rings until Lebron passes Jordan? If he wins 2 more that's finally going to be enough for GOAT status for me. I might be even willing to talk about it if he wins one more and makes the finals a until he retires.

What Is the Origin of the Saying "The Bitter End"?
The bitter end means the very end.

The bitter end is a nautical term. The bitt end (or bitter end) refers to the final part of the anchor rope near to where the rope is fixed to the ship’s deck. Usually marked with coloured rags, the bitter end gets its name from the bollards (or bitts) on the deck to which the anchor rope was tied. When the sailors lowering the anchor came across the rags on the bitter end, they knew there was no more rope left, meaning the water was too deep to set anchor. To go to the bitter end means to go to the very end (i.e., right to end last few yards of the anchor rope).

I love it

That has nothing to do with how Davis left NO, which was childish at best and pathetic at worst. Speaks volumes to the maturity and spoiled nature of today's generation of players.

He left a crappy franchise who made crappy decisions. Guess what? That’s the price of drafting a top 5 player. You better be good or theyre leaving. Stop blaming players for not wanting to ride out crappy franchises.

He did ride it out for 7 years. There's a limit on how long they should be expected to put up with complete and total incompetence and half of your career certainly meets that limit

I’m talking about for life. Folks unrealistically want greats to stay in one place no matter how bad the franchise is.

Why? So they could pay guys like Solomon Hill 8 figures?
