I hope they do. On the sly, Russell has been my #2 because he has a certain "je ne sais quoi" about him. I think he can make the biggest impact off the bat.

I don't know anything about Manny though so :dontknow:

Russell is made for NY

It isn't always about the player, but the system the player plays in.

 @ people freaking out over the knicks getting the 4th pick

Mudiay will probably be a top 5 athlete at the point guard position from day 1? How many points in the NBA are more athletic? Mudiay has bounce

Fu*k a Russell.

DLo fits our system perfectly. Shooting ability, slashing ability, vision and passing. Mudiay fits none of that. He's a pick and roll type guard.

2 years from now we won't be running that system.

Unless Abe's scenario plays out exactly, you're probably gonna get bragging rights on calling Monroe now...

Oh beyond my concerns about Okafor, Russell's strength/athleticism also a big issue. I almost forgot.

It's not even 10:30 and I'm already happy with our pick.

The mods there don't take too lightly to that. You could be banned from the GB board with that kind of talk, just saying.

The Lakers or Sixers can easily throw a wrench in this though. I could really see Mudiay impressing in workouts because of his athletic ability and size. Nothing makes nba front offices drool more than big PG's.

Rather let Galloway run the point and draft Russell than Mudiay. I know what Galloway looks like in the system and I LOVE it. Russell and Melo as the supporting cast is a good consolation. i will be peeved if we draft Mudiay.

If mudiay turned into prime baron davis without the injuries, i'd take that in a second.

not even. mudiay is closer to that foursome than russell. manny will have no trouble getting to the cup and finishing strong or reacting to the collapse. he just needs to get shots up. you wanted john wall? here he is.

it's gonna take russell a while to reliably threaten on the drive in the nba outside of errant closeouts. and i like the kid.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.
