No, I do not want to see any of them in a Knick uniform but if it was vets minimum or a training camp invite. I would love to see what they got.

Are there any decent big man out there right now? I do believe we are looking for a big man that can score in the box.

Papanikolaou is about to be waived. I'd take a look at picking him up! Gotta get those ex-Knicks back, you know. Who do we have at backup SF anyway? Early?

you don't really want to see any of those guys playing minutes in knick uniforms, do you?

bynum was washed up two comebacks ago.

okafor has been "recovering" from cervical disc hernia for two years. probably finished.

and javale mcgee not having any offers in a climate where backup centers are getting millions should tell you all you need to know about that lead paint chip eating mouthbreather. who cares how high that moron can jump?

i thought I remembered hearing that Okafor was near ready to return last year

He'd be great if he could play gain in limited mins

Bynum you have to assume has burned though all his cash by now and needs another chance.
A rental of Bynum as a 2nd string center is a good risk to take

but no, I don't expect either to be here

then again I didn't expect to ever hear Sasha V coming here either

good point on sasha, but at least he's been playing pro ball.

okafor is as "close" as his agent is going to say. but i can't hold my breath for a player with his type of injury at his age. of course, if healthy, what he brings is very intriguing as a backup C.

bynum hasn't been healthy enough for even limited minutes in any of his comeback attempts. that, and he's a bit of a malcontent too. and the way phil jackson's laker career ended... bynum basically pissed on the entire era. they didn't just go out, they hit every stair on the way down. really unprofessional behavior from bynum. i remember how angry phil looked when dallas took them out. he had that jerry sloan "i'm done" look. i'd hold out little hope for a reunion.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

I thought his issues were as much attitude and his habit of sleeping with coaches wives as it was health

money is a very motivating factor

still
I can't pretend I want guys like him on this team especially

Wouldn't mind taking a look at Jordan Hamilton. He was just waived by the clippers. 6'6 but more of a forward. Good athlete, good 3pt shooter, good rebounder and an on defender.

Didn't get a chance to shine in Denver with the amount of guard and coward depth there. When he did get a chance to play he player well. Didn't watch him in LA though.

Much rather him over the machine.

we still need help at BU SF and PF overall but I think he's too close to the guys we have like Thomas and Early in terms of talent

Id rather see us look abroad or at the d-league for something that has higher impact potential

of course thats easier said than done

an example might be that Walker kid who played for us and the celts and the cheat who got cut recently

he was a good 3 point shooter and hard worker but doesn't have the talent to separate from other guys like him

Wow talk about the dog days of summer aye? No action whatsoever. I'd be even fine with an Isola "unnamed sources" rumor at this point.

Andrew Bynum is the missing piece

Ayo dosunmu | AirPod | Shead
Devin Booker | Isaac Okoro
Demar Derozan | Haywood Highsmith
Jabari Smith Jr |Harrison Barnes | Achiuwa

early and thanasis

and there is no guarantee Thanasis makes the team

honestly BU SF right now is Thomas with Early as his BU and Affalo as a emergency small lineup option

Anyone think Ray Allen is a possibility?

Ray Allen says he will not officially retire because he wants to leave the door open if the right situation comes along. He has been enjoying the family life the past year but only missed the game during the playoffs. If he comes back I can see him joining a contender the second half of the season. A seasoned championship vet like him can fit in on any legitimate title contender.

Why would he come back for a team that is far away from contending and is probably on the outside looking in on the playoffs this year...?

So he would join either the San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors, or Cleveland Cavaliers. Maybe the Miami Heat if they come out of the gate swinging to start the season. Those are the only four teams that I think would make sense for Ray Allen.

Yeah I remember this beno for Hamilton possibility too.. I think CLips valued him at that time and balked on the offer.
