Fu*k a Russell.

DLo fits our system perfectly. Shooting ability, slashing ability, vision and passing. Mudiay fits none of that. He's a pick and roll type guard.

Russell is not a slasher, stop.

Mudiay has slashing, vision & passing, he's a pass first guard and he's also a much better defender so I don't know what you are talking about.

And the Knicks incorporated PnR sets towards the end of the season so yea.

Russell should be able to get into the paint too mate. His handles are so good and have the height and iq/vision to see the openings in the defense. He may not be as athletic but he is no stiff either smooth as a soup laaaaaad

He measured in at 193. That's not weak for a PG. His IQ / smarts and shot make up for not being a great athlete. Look at Steph.

Pretty sure you did this same thing when we missed out on LeBron - trying to fool yourself into thinking one thing because you are disappointed.

Bet the Knicks draft Cauley-Stein or trade down for Kaminsky. I swear this franchise is cursed. Just put Isiah in charge and put us all out of our misery...

A Spurs scout on Mudiay's shooting from an article that was published today

Improvements: For one, Mudiay's jump shot. "A Spurs scout thought that he had a very good form, but he just needed to work on being more consistent," the CBA scout said. "Everyone says it's lack of practice." Abunassar said that's been a key focus in training, and Mudiay has improved. "He has elite range and mechanics," he said. In addition, Mudiay needs to be a bit more efficient with his mid-range game. "He likes to attack the basket every time, and he can probably stand to pull up more," the CBA scout said. "If he wants to have longevity in his career, he has to choose when to attack wisely."

Russell is a great slasher. Some gif's in here (haven't read the article): http://www.sbnation.com/2015/3/20/82615 ... draft-2015

Quick question. Have you watched Mudiay play? I've watched 5 or so full games of him. Yeah, he is pass first, but he still doesn't have as good of vision, slashing or passing as DLo.

Yeah we did, but not as much as you'd think. And that's only because of so many new faces at PG.

Im honestly fine with either Mudiay or Russel..im just worried with our luck that Phil won't draft either of them if they're the ones left.

Young Baron was Westbrook before Westbrook. He was yamming on bigmen in the post constantly from high school all the way threw his first few years in the league. He brought that brolic ball from the PG to the League in a new way.

Those are good problems to have. If his jumper impresses enough though I don't see Philly passing or Lakers even.

Let's be honest here. The Lakers aren't passing up on an opportunity to pair Kobe with another big man. The hype alone will sell tickets, which are all the Buss kids seem to care about atm. Okafor isn't dropping past two and if he does the Sixers will draft him and try to trade him to us for an arm and a leg.

Unless Abe's scenario plays out exactly, you're probably gonna get bragging rights on calling Monroe now...

i was getting those anyway. nobody else is coming.

I'm not engaging in this war over hypotheticals. If Abe's scenario plays out, we can do battle. I plan on getting banned in said battle but I plan on that every day and it never happens.

Freakin Laker fans... They have the nerve to say they deserve #2 because they had a whopping 3 rough years.

Yup A lot of people assuming the two bigs will go first but I could definitely see Lakers picking a guard they really like. Also sixers are a weird team so no one should think they have them figured out.
