Baron Davis is a fine player with the 4th pick

Baron Davis was a freak athlete with ELITE vision. He was Westbrook with better vision. Mudiay isn't that. Why do Knicks fans always hype players up?

He measured in at 193. That's not weak for a PG. His IQ / smarts and shot make up for not being a great athlete. Look at Steph.

Pretty sure you did this same thing when we missed out on LeBron - trying to fool yourself into thinking one thing because you are disappointed.

I'm not fooling myself. We fuqed up.
I don't want Manny Bootiey

I really fear that Phil is going to try and pull of that "zen" bullsh*t and take Winslow or WCS. He always seems to be going against the grain, and it scares me

I'm not engaging in this war over hypotheticals. If Abe's scenario plays out, we can do battle. I plan on getting banned in said battle but I plan on that every day and it never happens.

i hope your dream comes true sir. in fact, i have those same hopes for everyone.

You know what will happen...

Byron Scott is still head coach. Lakers are all set to fail in Kobe's final year or whatever year this is of his. Another $30 million on a Kobe who may break down.

Lakers will be coming with the horsecrap about their agony long time.

Honestly, maybe this is what James Dolan gets for even bringing Isiah back into MSG

Improvements: For one, Mudiay's jump shot. "A Spurs scout thought that he had a very good form, but he just needed to work on being more consistent," the CBA scout said. "Everyone says it's lack of practice." Abunassar said that's been a key focus in training, and Mudiay has improved. "He has elite range and mechanics," he said. In addition, Mudiay needs to be a bit more efficient with his mid-range game. "He likes to attack the basket every time, and he can probably stand to pull up more," the CBA scout said. "If he wants to have longevity in his career, he has to choose when to attack wisely."

mudiay is a flawed player....to have a horrible season, mixed with terrible trades screwed up due to meaningless wins at the end to land a player with no J is a failure at all levels within the organization. Jackson has messed up everything so far

DLo fits our system perfectly. Shooting ability, slashing ability, vision and passing. Mudiay fits none of that. He's a pick and roll type guard.

Russell is not a slasher, stop.

Mudiay has slashing, vision & passing, he's a pass first guard and he's also a much better defender so I don't know what you are talking about.

And the Knicks incorporated PnR sets towards the end of the season so yea.

Russell should be able to get into the paint too mate. His handles are so good and have the height and iq/vision to see the openings in the defense. He may not be as athletic but he is no stiff either smooth as a soup laaaaaad

Y'all are arguing like it matters. We don't have a choice. You're going to get whichever one is left and you're going to like it. End of story.

Fam, everyone one on the General Board is elated on our position. But me, I'm very good, why? Because we're still the team all these guys wanted to play for.
Stein, Winslow, Mudiay, ect., they are all there and I'm sure one of the top 3 will say "Dam, I wish that was me".

Stephan Curry was the 7th pick.

But with better vision, a better handle, and without the athleticism? He's a bootleg Wall or a Jrue Holiday (minus the jumper but better athleticism).

Baron Davis was athletic, but he wasn't Westbrook...especially the GSW version. He could still dunk on somebody, but he used his handle and big body a lot more to get to where he needed to go.

It is not over yet, every prospect has their flaws in some ways. We gotta develop whoever we pick and put him in good positions to continue growing, improve and be efficient
