If Luka is on the board then Memphis isn't trading it. It's been reported by everyone that Memphis loves him.

My read...gotta think that's why the Knicks are meeting with Bamba, since the trade is contingent on Bags and Luka going 2 & 3. Cause if they do then theres not a great fit for Memphis. I love JJJ but I could see Memphis being meh on his fit and readiness to contribute. Bamba is a C and Porter is broken.

Pretty much. I heard they’d only trade 4 if they’re on the clock and Doncic isn’t available

But after hearing about guys like Bamba and (I think) JJJr telling Memphis they don’t wanna go there, and Luka already being picky about where he’s going by saying he might not come over for years, why would they risk taking him?

Honestly, Luka probably is that guy...and he's probably the best long term play as well (at the very least, one of them for sure).

Does Mikal have a much higher ceiling than Dotson?

Doubtful, chances are he's close to his peak at his age. Mikel's problem is his inconstant shot and hitch, his slight frame as I don't think he'll get much stronger...very limited back to the basket game

Yep, agreed. I actually think Dallas trades up to 3 to draft Luka, Memphis would then trade 4, and ATL picks Young at 5.

The Knicks had a pre-workout dinner with Lonnie Walker IV.

If the Knicks do stay put at No. 9, it sounds like they're looking at either LW4, Mikal Bridges or Kevin Knox. Walker has length on the wing and he handled the ball a lot at Miami due to a lack of guard depth. If he does wind up on a rebuilding team, he'll be a name to watch in fantasy.

Hm, honestly, that'd be tough. If Luka/Mo are there, I'd look into it...but I'd rather add 9+36+cash+Dot (who'd fit in well there, IMO)+protected first. I just can't get past the Frank/Luka pairing in the backcourt (or 1/3, depending on how you view Doncic's position) or a Frank/Mo pairing...so enticing.
