One thing I'm curious if we will address at some point, the majority of the league are set to become free agents in two years. Any player that originally got a five year deal will be free agents, if you want to talk about a possible bloodbath, in two years we're talking about absolute mayhem. It'll be like 7 royal rumbles going on simultaneously.

I mean there should be a rule that allows teams to extend players, the competitive advantage given to teams that draft player through the draft is already OP already. Hoffa's team for example doesn't have to worry about losing a good player during this entire process pretty much. It's an unaccounted for problem when we started this thing that's going to be rearing it's ugly head sooner rather than later.

how you were feeling now that you have everything perfectly lined up...

im lined up perfectly right now. When draft day comes along anything can happen and how the draft unfolds and someone comes knocking I will listen but they will have to give me something exciting because at this point quantity is not something I'm looking for.

It’s gonna be pretty hard for teams to steal young players from other teams

It will be but some will have to make it through the cracks. Especially with the teams that have 2-3 top tier players. Unless the team either goes over the cap (which hasn't been done before) because it completely hampers that team from signing or drafting anyone.

Or it just gets to a point where it would hamper the team to bring him back. Everyone has a limit where it would be insane to bring that player back at that price.

The only way I see a team stealing a young player is if they get paid more than $500. No player in BAF is worth that bread

No I completely disagree with that there was a reason why I staggered all my contracts (why I have had cap space every summer so far), teams should of taken it into account about natural progression of there players and built in flexibility, and you can go 10 percent over cap to re-sign your own player which is a huge advantage that's an extra $100

the benefit is FA rankings (the teams that win will have a better chances) over a 3 year period. And the bird rights will play a big role as well. Giving that extra year will play a role as well. You can also go over your cap as well to resign a player (10% i believe). While that would really hamper a team that option is available as well.

There are benifits on both sides. Just like certain teams have ignored the future for the present. They shouldn't be rewarded either.

i hear ya. It's very balnced. I do think a Luka/Spida/Zion/KAT is a ridiculous 4-some. But its going to be a blood bath just like last year for the final spots. I do think the West spots are a bit more clearer but there might be a power shift coming soon with a lot of the young talent in the East.

Some players are actually worth the $400-500. The problem was guys like Draymond, Klay, KP, etc getting paid that type of money.
