well that not really how trades work. teams don't just tell the media "we're gonna trade for [Players X]"

there are rumors it could happen, and that scares the sh*t out of some fans, and rightfully so

people already starting to say that this FO is garbage all because of some BS tweets from people trying to stir **** up where there is probably no truth to any of it. i know we have been patient for a long time but this is a new regime and we have to wait and see how things shake out before snapping to judgement

Teams are talking and no deal can even be done right now but you know teams are talking. You know Rose who happens to be one of the most connected people in the business is talking, you know the guys around him are talking amongst themselves if anything and weighing options. To think they aren't is foolish. Whether or not a deal that makes sense for both sides ever gets done, whether we think it makes sense or not, but for the two teams to do agree on it, that's a different story.

if there are legs to this rumor, Knicks fans rightfully have reason to be frustrated. we've been burned too many times by short-sighted moves like these, that fans have their guard up

I wouldn't even entertain a Westbrook deal unless they are attaching a boatload of picks (which they dont have)

Clarification cause I’m guessing you think it’s a double statement by me.

What I’m saying is the reason they are talked about right now being involved in every rumor is because it seems knicks front office has made sure they have every Avenue covered. Whether it’s trading up or down and knowing what prices cost to be prepared in case there’s value they feel they should capitalize on.

However I was told they have 0 desire to move up for any prospects and they will not come off the Dallas picks. Rose and co are holding assets or acquiring assets in the event of a potential disgruntled star trade.
