Josh Minott killing it right now. 20 pts in the 3rd quarter and 2/2 from 3. Extremely high ceiling and brings great energy, athleticism, and defense

Knicks keeping their picks to trade up in 2023 for Scoot Henderson.
2023 includes the High School players as well. Keep our picks and see what we can accomplish next offseason.
Not trying to criticise at all, and I'm super interested, but do you have any sources that the 2023 draft will include high school players? I looked hard about two months ago and could find no evidence at all to support that story. If you have a reference that would be fantastic.

I can't believe he dropped too. GM's were smoking crack this year.
I wanted the Knicks to get him so bad
The Mavs didn't want to draft anyone at all this year, but had Hardy #19 on their theoretical big board and then just bought a 2RP when he fell so far because they thought that the value was absurd.
I guess we'll see how that pans out, but ...

Harden was traded for 19 billion picks and swaps
now look at the list of every finals team here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NBA_champions
Literally the Miami Heat are the only team the last 30 years whose top 2 players weren't drafted by the team.
guys, the only way to get good and to actually compete for a championship is to draft a star. Drafting a star means u get to pay them nothing while you can spend the rest of the capspace filling out the roster.
The next GM must be Sam Hinkie.
I'd vote for that all day and every day.

This is true. Though if we want to get really technical, Chicago didn't draft Pippen and LAL didn't draft Kobe
Also they didn't draft Pau. And Boston didn't draft Garnett or Allen
This is fun.

This **** is crazy! All the respect to the likes of Lillard and Beal but half of the salary for one player makes no sense.

But in all seriousness
Ayton
whoever/Jalen Smith
Mathurin
Duarte
Hali
That team is going to make a champioship run 2 or 3 years from now-- I'd probably get Gallo to fill that Stretch 4/Maybe move Mathurin to the 2 and get a vet 3 and they might make a deep run this year.
Indiana got the guy the Knicks should of been aiming for in the draft
Got the point guard knicks should of gotten if Randle wasn't such a prick(event though I think I'll be happy with JB once Thibs is fired
also wanted them to sign Jalen Smith(might of gotten a more established 7 foot version in Hart)\
-We probably still can get Ayton --- but who wants a maxed out Center ... amIright...

I give Indiana credit. They took an unintentional mid-tier treadmill team and got some really exciting young pieces for it. However the Knicks should beat them everytime they meet. Compared to their shallow roster the Knicks are the army better yet call them the navy. Indiana is probably a draft or two away from competing for the playoffs. The Knicks should be back in the race next season.

To me it looks like they jumped from one treadmill to another. I guess they can compete for a championship run if Halliburton and Ayton both become top 20 players

but isn't that what you pay your front office for? Ayton is 23 yrs old with finals experience, defensive center that gives you an athletic 17pts and 10 rbs --- Hali is a defensive 6'5" pt guard that already gives you an efficient 15pts and 8 assists--- and you sandwich another high pick like Mathurin--- it'll take another 3 years b4 these guys are in their prime -- how can anyone dismiss this as another treadmill --- to me they get an A+ even if they don't get Ayton b/c they got a bunch of flexibility on top of top tier talent.
