Wishful thinking perhaps - but it does seem despite all the chatter about LeBron and Melo teaming up, Melo doesn't like the thought of becoming LeBron's Robin.

IMHO...right now, LeBron doesn't have to sign a long-term deal with any team...but Melo HAS TO sign a long-term deal. Melo won't risk it but I can easily see LeBron not thinking twice about it as long as he's getting top dollar for that particular contract. LeBron can't commit long-term anywhere other than Clev...Melo says f*** that sh**. :lol:

Disgusting if all these players are talking to each other, NBA is a bit clownish right now, what happened to these dudes wanting to play against each other.

If anybody actually believes that Lebron and Melo haven't had, or aren't in, continuous contact about the specific details of their free agency, as well as their intentions, I'm not sure what to say to you. These guys know, and have KNOWN, what they are doing for a while now. This is a power-play, look-at-me, I'm-powerful-and-look-at-how-many-people-are-waiting-on-my-word puppet show right now.
