Honestly I don't think the front office including Dolan want to trade Melo... I believe they want to surround him and KP with young players and see where the season goes. Just my opinion.. but who knows? Anything can happen in Knick land

Doubt it. They have been very vocal about it. Even with all the KP talk, Hornacek walked it back during summer league saying he would be the focal point moving forward. You don't make him the focal point if you have Melo on the roster.

so morey couldn't gave way his trash to anybody that's what happens when nobody wants to work with you for trade being hard azz just like danny ainge today being hard azz. Danny ainge was hard azz had to take a crappy deal because he was being difficult and took marcus morris for bradley but if danny ainge wasn't a hard azz probably some team would have helped him.

I'm hoping he goes to the Rockets instead of the Cavs. They added CP3, Tucker, and still have Harden, Eric Gordon, Nene, Capela. That team would be great to watch

Don't worry if the incumbent team president/GM was dumb enough to sign Hardaway Jr to that horrible deal, he'll find a way to take Morey's garbage.

It's not like "Mighty Wind" Mills wasn't around Isiah who was the worst Cap manager.

I still maintain, Houston was not that serious. Unless the Knicks were going to give them every thing they wanted they weren't going to deal. D'Antoni was being P.C. like a guy who didn't miss his old job but didn't want to burn his bridges.

Cleveland is the Knicks' best bet.

He'll opt out. Let the banana boat crew collude and give up money to RUIN the sport. This entire super team BS is killing the game. Players don't want beat the best...they want to play together. If it's not on your team...you don't get to enjoy it. There are 30 teams in the league and maybe five if you stretch it...can try to contend. Everyone else is running in quicksand. The league was thin on talent to begin with. Now the talent is funneled to a select few teams. It is ridiculous.

I'm at a point where I'm willing to just take expiring contracts for Melo. If the best player they can get back is Harkless or someone like TJ Warren if Love goes to Phoenix, I'm totally fine with it.

If that were the case Melo would be on the Rockets right now and Anderson would be on our roster. Our front office maybe stupid but they also are hardheaded and will stick to their mantra of young, long, and athletic or accumulating assets. That's why the Timmy deal doesn't really surprise. Is the contract stupid?.....check. Is he young, long, and athletic?......check.
