was kawhi this raw coming out of college?

Kawhi was that raw when he was winning Finals MVP. Kawhi was a top 5-10 pick until his rawness lead to a free fall draft night.

u think mikal can reach kawhi's level?

on the college level he can do a little something more straight line drives from a screen if anything. Im not that thrilled taking a 22 year old 3/D player with a top 10 pick though.

Def a late bloomer. Nobody was even recruiting him until senior year in hs. Not many schools were even after him. I've seen almost all of his games and he keeps getting better and better. Defense was always there, shot is pure, high iq...He is putting it all together

Lol at Mikal reaching Kawhi's level... Kawhi is his floor. Mikal is the truth and probably the true heir to Lebron.

Be careful Melo is not sold yet. You are not allowed to see the studness. We are waiting for him. Then we can be excited by his play, :o

exactly, our defense will improve thats always a good thing but we will still be a perimeter oriented team soul searching for the go to guy. Were banking on a guy who will be 22 years old when the season starts whos never shown signs of being a creator to poof turn into kawhi leornard type of player or ntilkina make a 1 off-season jump.

he's not a bad pick if were in range and other guys are off the board lets not pretend he's about to fix our lack of penetration and getting guys easier shots though thats our major weakness and whats preventing this team from taking a next step.
