Ngl it would fck with me more if I was single. But since she puts up with me as is I figure going bald isn't going to be the final straw.

I'm rocking with it until I look like kd and Bron then I'll shave it.

I'm up there with you guys. I have a bunch of hair on top from a comb over. I keep telling my wife I'm ready to shave my head, but she is happy with it (I think she likes that there's a lot of hair combed over LOL). So I'm sticking with it for now. Actually, I love wearing my Knicks cap so it's not a big deal.

Oh, I'm not going bald, I have some solid Bajan genes. It's just that my momma passed down her graying traits to me and i started going gray at 27. I got tired of dying my hair and during the pandemic i just started shaving my head and I've stayed that way

smfh - you're out here shaving off a perfectly fine head of grey hair while some of us are doing combovers.

I'm all about the gray - I can't wait for it to come in full. Been excited for it since I saw the first one shimmering in my early 30s. To me it means you've made it, when so many people die too soon.

My problem is the whole salt and pepper thing, especially with the beard; I was led to believe it would be a graceful blend - salt AND pepper. Refined. Esteemed. Classy. Nobody told me the distribution would be salt THEN pepper. These patches of grays have people squinting at me from a distance wondering if I was recently blinded and just tried to shave for the first time. Got me looking like a human Magna Doodle at quick glance when I don't shave for a while.

You're 100% right. I know too many people who died young. It truly is a badge of honor to age gracefully. A gift.

But i have the same problem: the grays are in patches. It looks crazy to me and makes me feel self conscious. I'll let them things marinate in my scalp for a few more seasons before letting folks know that I'm old

I think IQ should probably be a secondary ball-handler/playmaker. Asking him to be a lead guard may be asking just a little too much. Lonzo would be an amazing backcourt mate for him.

However, the Raptors have been +14.1 points per 100 possessions better with IQ on the court. It's not just a lineup thing because their other new starter is -1.4.

So I'd say IQ's off to a pretty good start in Toronto.

They just lack talent overall so they're gonna lose games.

I'd say Scottie/IQ is a solid foundation but now they need a bonafide 3&D guy around them..

Isn't the point of a podcast to listen to? Otherwise it's just a video!

The league is being robbed of the better Ball and it's a travesty. The better Porter now has a better chance to prove it. Almost anyone would look better paired with Lonzo but I agree that IQ would particularly benefit. He's like the OG of guards. It was a huge blow to Chicago to lose him.

But with IQ, it just comes down to reps as the lead in crunch time situations. He's usually had Brunson to set him up and now he's doing it. I'm talking about the difference between a good player and a great one. We know he's good.

The guy they need ironically is OG more than Siakam. I guess he didn't want to be there though to our benefit.

Btw, this is the off topic basketball thread so you can talk all the **** you want about RJ by name here as long as you stay within TOS. I didn't mention him because I was talking about their good players. He may yet be that but he isn't.

My wife doesn't want me to dye my hair, but wants me to let it stay gray. Why? She figures with a bunch of gray hair, I'll have too much self respect to look younger women. My thoughts are if we're alive and our eyes work, we can always enjoy looking, even if we're never going to cheat on our wives LOL. The day I stop looking is the day I'm gone. Sorry, darling wife.

Having ended a 9year relationship last winter, and having found my first greys in my early 20s, I can assure you that plenty of pretty young women love the salt n pepper lol. But I also don't really oogle women out n about unless I notice them checking me out first, my ex was the pervy old man in that relationship

Really, the most important thing is she's a Knicks fan or she accepts that you are, and that she's somewhere between legal age and senility.

Not many knicks fans in the Chicagoland area, but luckily we're all clear on the latter lol. Funnily enough she's almost the same age as I was when I had my first "real GF" who was almost the same age I am now.

Sorry, didn't know you're so far away from the Mecca. But I've got some friends there, and it seems like there's lots of good folks in Chicago, so let u know if something good comes of this. Took me forever to find the right one, but not because of anything to do with the Knicks.

Berlin will always be home for me, but Chicago has become home too and I can't help but love this town, despite how insanely segregated it still is and how f***ed up the CPD can be.

There's a strong connection with both of the girls I'm seeing and they both know that I feel a strong connection to each them...but I still have work to do on myself after that last relationship, haven't fully let all of that baggage go yet.
