There's very few 5 out teams, you gotta pay the cost to have one at this point.

KAT doesn't make you a true 5 out team because he can't defend. Might as well play small ball with Randle. And you'll still have 5 out spacing with no interior defense and good rebounding.

Yes, Thibs was so in love with Randle's ability to play the 5 that he featured him there for all of 9 minutes over 5 seasons.

Anyone a bit concerned on how Towns took the trade news? His IG post and then showing up to an event 12 hours later decked out in Wolves gear?! I know its a shock when you get traded but with this dudes history of being soft I'm hoping his emotional state is ready to embrace NY. Last thing we need is a disgruntled star creating drama and locker room tension. This unit has been really gelling last couple of seasons and they don't need that noise right now.

KAT is injury prone so expect to see a lot of Sims on your illegal streams

KAT is in the lowest tiers of defenders when it comes to anchoring a defense. It’s not gonna work at all unless we have a healthy Mitch next to him.

Which is why I got BLopez.

Wolves were 13th defensively the year before they got Gobert, we'll be top 10 with him and the wings helping out.


The Nuggets won the the title as 5th offense and 15th defense.

KAT even if he turns out to be not as good defeively as some of the metrics suggest is surrounded by 4-5 very good to elite defenders that can defend EVERY single position at an elite level 1-5 with the sole exception of elite rim protection that a true C can sometimes provide.

Many of us back a couple seasons ago were like KAT would be a great fit here but thats only if we got OG. Well not only did we get OG we got Bridges too!

We have:

1. OG elite 1-5 defender (without rim protection )
2. Bridges elite 1-4 defense
3. Hart elite 1-3 (some 4s) defense
4. McBride elite 1-2 defense
5. Achiuwa good 4-5 defense
6. Morris above average 4 some 5s defense

We are more than OK to have a couple average to below average defenders as starters (KAT and Brunson)
