We know that Jokic can drag a random collection of players to win. And that Luka can drag a random collection of players to get to the finals. What if they teamed up?

luka will never win a ring in any uniform. they got to the finals off a series of fortunate events but they weren't the best western conference team and it showed clearly in the finals

they weren't going back to the finals and the lakers front office will try to build around luka by attracting additional stars which is the exact way you aren't supposed to build around luka. he'll never win a chip

so many people are going to eat their words about randle

Luka has been to the WCF twice though. He's a winner

and now he's alongside LeBron

Last 27 games, Reaves is averaging 21/5/7 on 46/38/90 splits. He's a legitimate star.

Those 3 together should be able to dissect almost any defense

It's going to come down to whether the Lakers role players can be coached up to rebound, defend, and hustle at an elite level.

It would take LeBron's body giving up on him at this point for this to fall apart.

LeBron and Luka is just crazy for a superstar pairing.

They'd be more dominant than Shaq & Kobe

Luka might literally keep LeBron playing until he's 42. This is the stupidest sh*t ever.

All of the other owners should be pissed off about this. The Mavericks literally gifted the Lakers a decade of contention even after LeBron has had enough

I don't take for granted LeBron's transition to a Robin. And this team also has not 1, not 2, but 3 defensive cones with the addition of Reaves.

Winning is inevitable but not as currently constructed.

They will also have to wait for Jokic's twilight because there is nothing to stop him right now, he almost won with barbers against KD, Steph, Bron, Davis, Embiid and Bam.

They would beat OKC, Memphis, and Cleveland. I can't see any of them stopping the Luka/LeBron two-man game.

Boston I'm not so sure Lakers vould beat them, but they have a shot

This year sure. But i expect that their roster next year will not be the current makeshift one.

Either way, this is completely stupid.

Their defense is going to be a big problem. They have a lot of work to do on that end to be a contender.

Lakers really made this trade for the future when Bron retires. Not to contend right now.

DFS, Vanderbuilt, and Vincent are top notch defenders

Hayes is starting to step it up

Its team oriented game. When 3 of your starters are absolutely horrendous you can put prime Bill Russell and Gary Payton, its not gonna help them.

Vincent is washed, Vanderbilt hasn’t been the same since his injuries, DFS is getting old. Hayes is ok but not even close to AD’s level. They aren’t winning anything lol
