i think the lack of offers had to do with the amount of contracts that have to be involved to get a $500 player, teams dont want to gut there whole team to get one.

Only in BAF hahahaha

Well this is what really happened.
I decided to check in on this figuring the trade deadline was coming up.
I saw my team sinking in the standings and needed to finally trade Bron.
I put it out that I’m gonna trade Bron.
The response I get from everyone is basically go f*ck yourself you don’t answer PMs. Then I got pooched.
And then I thought how entirely stupid this is that just because I pissed some people off but not answering PMs that the league would f*ck with me and no one would let me actually trade Lebron for fair value and I was right.
The only offer I got from Bron was Hoffas deal. So I took the best offer as a I said I would.
So honestly the trade should go through because you all slept on this. If pooch was smart he would’ve made a real offer instead of trying to mess with me. If everyone else who was bitching in here was smart then would’ve put an offer in. Nope 0. Best offer was Hoffa and he got the deal

BR I get home 20 mins ago to find a pm from bish that he tryna void our trade. Tell bish we were operating in good faith and I worked on that trade with you ALL DAY. It was agreed on the same time you agreed with hoffa. I have every pm and time stamp. How is bish gonna let the LeBron trade stand but kill our Redick/Mirotic/Diallo for Winslow/Hart/Belinelli deal, when my trade is even more even and less suspect with the talent that is switching sides. Anyone can see my trade is good faith. It's not fair my deal is getting killed due to public pressure cuz some of y'all was crying over the LeBron deal. That's not right!

We sent our trade in way earlier today. Bish found a small hiccup due to Bowlrips not having a pick to swap. I told him I'd restructure the deal. I hit Bowlrips and we reworked the deal and sent it back in. Now it's voided? That's not right yo!

Yup. Once I thought I actually traded Lebron to Pooch, I thought Hart and Winslow would be good fits around my new squad. Except I didn’t know that Pooch was full of **** at the time. But since we negotiated in good faith and I like both Winslow and Hart I accepted the trade

I have every pm and every time stamp. All I know is both trades were legal and should stand. If he quit after the trade, so what?! The time we spent working on this deal shows good faith.

I am the one who called out BR first in good faith in an effort to get him to show better trade etiquette and help get deals done. There was never no blacklisting. And it worked cuz we both finally came to the table and it created private dialogue that led to a deal being done. Trade should stand.

My dude stop Crying about this. Do you realize how Much the GOAT salary is? Honestly how many offers are you going to get for him. Very few people can handle a trade like that. You were NOT being black listed.

Seriously man up and stop playing victim...

I mean I'm just saying I personally don't care if ppl respond to me or not. Have had it happen before and have done it myself so I can't talk, so I wouldn't pay that any mind.. idk what happened between the talks though so I don't want to put my 2 cents in there, just saying all that if people truly are "blacklisting" that's still a small percentage of the league.. and if they aren't.. it's just some BAF drama.

Basically what it comes down to is just you quitting for most of us.. not only has it been hard to get replacement GMs, it just puts a sour taste in the mouth after the trades no matter if it was good faith or not. Just seems an easy fix to fix whatever part of the deals went wrong and move forward with you staying.

The same people trying to blacklist you were the same people still trying to make deals. They were just trying to corner the market so you wouldn't get any other offers.

I was thought about what i could offer but salaries didn't work. Don't take that personally and you should stay in.

I try to keep all of this stuff behind the scenes and private but when it gets to this point, the whole league should know what is going on.

Here is how I have seen things today. Keep in mind that this has all happened while I am at my full time job, at my high school basketball practice and now I am home trying to do homework with my kids and get them to bed.

A deal was put out in the discussion thread for LeBron which was a fairly crazy deal that was pretty clear (at least to me) that was not a real offer. It was submitted to me late last night only by BR. Early this morning BR, wanted to know why the trade wasn't processed and I let him know that it was never submitted by the other team. From that point on, BR submitted two accepted trades. Both trades had JJ Redick in them going to two separate teams. I let all three teams know that neither trade can be processed due to BR's oversight. A little while later, the trade was amended to substitute Nance for Redick making the Charlotte trade cap legal.

I try not to judge any trade made between two GMs because each GM has their own unique vision. As long as we have committed GMs I will let almost anything go through. But it quickly became clear through both the discussion thread and BR's PMs to me that he was not interested in continuing. After my basketball practice and before my kids CCD meeting I was able to run home for about 30 minutes and submit the LeBron trade (BR had PM'd me again in the meantime so I was hoping he was still going to stick it out). I processed the LeBron trade and began writing up the next trade with 2010 when I found another mistake which made the trade illegal.

I once again let 2010 and BR know that the trade needed tweaking. BR's final response to me was "Do whatever 2010 wants I'm relinquishing my team". At that point I freezed all Grizzlie transactions and told both 2010 and hoffa that we had problems. It is pretty clear to me that BR was upset (whether rightfully so or not isn't for me to say) but he made these trades with no intention to stay in the league.

It is my opinion that hoffa and 2010 got screwed over by what has happened today. But I also think that it is in the best interest of the league to find a replacement GM for Memphis as soon as possible and let them decide which direction they want to take the Grizzlies. Because it has been a lost day for two teams today, I will extend the deadline until FRIDAY at 10PM.

Any questions let me know.

We fixed it a while ago and sent it back in. But bish blocked it cuz of the crying. Public pressure should not override transparency. I am willing to post every pm of our negotiation.

At two points, BR twice asked me to put more in the deal and I told him no. That I had no more to offer. That pm exchange is enough to show he was operating in good faith. He was tryna get more out of me.
