Re: Build a Franchise (Season 7) Discussion thread
I'm not married to my roster, but like I said, fine going into next year with the collection of guys I have. I feel like I'd only want to do a bigger trade moving big names for a blockbuster or a trade receiving young talent/picks that I like. Can pivot any direction since I have 5 first rounders as well in the next 2 years, so I can add more to it or part with some.
Only trades I don't really want to do are swapping role guys for different fitting role guys.

Re: Build a Franchise (Season 7) Discussion thread
Sam Hauser- $1/3 years
Yuta Watanabe- $1/3 years
I have an abundance of shooting...SO I'm putting this out there to see what the offers would be...
I dont need to move any of these guys so don't come at me with low ball offers. They are Elite shooters. Both have FG3 83 ratings..
If you need the other ratings its on my team page...

Luka | Scotty |Dunn
Bane | Pritchard | Branham
Oubre | Jmac | Peyton
AD | Clarke | Jaylin
Chet | I.Jackson | Neemias

Alvarado (75 DEF) and Joe (83 FG3)are on $1 contracts tho. It’s not just about what they bring, but also the money they allow you to allocate elsewhere in the construction of your team. Those $1 salaries for quality players are super valuable.
While Trae is rated with a high OVR, his defense is poor and he is not an efficient scorer. So he really only fits on a certain type of squad. Nobody really wanted him. I happened to be one of the only GMs willing to take the gamble on him.

If you were one of the few GMs to inquire on Trae, I’m willing to bet if you were turned down, it’s likely cuz MDB already gave me his word on the deal by that point. He’s a tight-lipped GM with honor, so he likely wouldn’t reveal to you why he’s declining. To protect the confidentiality of his verbal commitment elsewhere.
One of them situations where you gotta strike fast and with a good rationale and a credible offer if you want your guy. I always try to move fast and close with a firm commitment.
Yeah this is pretty much what happened, i didn't want to blab or do anyone dirty.
I don't value Trae as highly as others, and that's alright if someone thinks a better offer could be had, i respect that opinion. i just don't want anyone to think that i was on some BS or anything.

I mean, you literally told the forum you weren’t enchanted with your guards and their lack of defense. Once I saw that I made my offer pretty much immediately. If anyone else didn’t catch that drift and hit your inbox, they weren’t paying enough attention.

Believe me, if i could get rid of Luke Kennard i would have done so a month ago.
But he'll be serviceable now. Just need to obtain another shooter to balance things out.
