he was picked way too high. should have been a late 1st rounder. too much unknown.
Unknow for you, not for scouts and guys who know euros prospects...

Also, we have no benchmark to go off of. If he played AAU, High School and NCAA, we would have seen him regularly against other prospects. Then, we'd have an idea of how his speed/height/first step really stack up. Against the compeition he's playing, I'm sure they're very good, but, we don't know them. We have no clue about their measurables.
So, to put it another way, it's like looking at a picture and being like, "Wow" that"s a big burrito. Then, you put a quarter next to it and realize it's not that big. We need a benchmark in order to know.
Maybe if you watch french PO like others people here, you could have another speech... His skills are know against confirmed players.

Believe what you want but everyone (but you) knows he always wanted to be a New York Knick. Can't figure out how any Knicks fan wouldn't know this.
Hate to break it to you but he's right. Melo was very willing to go to Brooklyn. Brooklyn had a lot of hype at that time. Melo wanted to live in the city. At the end of the day, he probably preferred the Knicks but he would have taken whichever deal got done first. He didn't care if it was Manhattan or Brooklyn.
Ummmmmmmm i never said he wouldn't of gone to Brooklyn, i said he wanted to be a New York Knick so you didn't break anything to me cause i never said he wouldn't of gone to Brooklyn. I did say he wouldn't of signed an extension with Brooklyn cause he would of signed with the Knicks after his deal was done. Thank you

I feel something like that would be a lot easier to get done rather than adding 3rd, 4th, 9th teams to make it work. Keep it simple. I think Houston does this as they are basically like guaranteed contracts for early 2nd round talent.
Personally, I would get a 3rd or 4th team involved, so we don't have to take on Anderson's contract. He's 29 and has 3 years left on a bloated contract. Trading Melo for him doesn't really help the Knicks much salary cap wise. Ideally, I'd like to see Melo go to Rockets, Anderson goes to TEAM X, and we taken in picks from the rockets and Team X, and probably a scrub or 2 as well. Obviously that's drastically over simplified, but something like that I'd be really on board with. I don't want more aging vets with big deals.
