I don't know if they are coming or not but if they wanted to talk business they could have easily picked up the phone or met in private. They are trolling the media for sure and Knick fans to a certain extent.

I thought the goal was championships. That's what people here always preach. "No treadmills" blah blah blah. KD/Irving/AD is the best chance at that. Now we can tolerate a few more garbage seasons with less than favorable lottery odds and the goal being "pray for MVP's and finals appearances within 5 to 10 years"?

So if Kyrie joins LeBron they don't win a championship next year (even though they've already done it before). If AD joins LeBron the same? What about both? And you're saying both joining Durant isn't the same?

You keep ignoring the fact that AD and Kyrie are continuously hurt. If their both racking up DNP’s in the playoffs while KD is all alone how you gonna feel? Was it really worth it?

And the last time I checked, all of y’all been preaching for a true rebuild for years. Now we got the chance to do it but y’all wanna be first in line to sign injury prone players. Kyries knees are legit Amare bad but I guess y’all havent learned ur lesson. Good night

no, they aren’t.

it’s easy to just flippantly group kyrie and a amare in the same group of “injury prone” but their injury history is completely different. amare had continually degenerative knee issues in both knees for years. kyrie fractured a knee cap.
Isn't there a problem with the screws in his knees though, that's gonna keep giving him trouble?

Kyrie is trying HARRRRD to recruit. “Two Max spots.. two.. it’s time..” but KD body language doesn’t look like he’s buying into it. I mean my take is.. I mean he’s in GS right now, he doesn’t want to get too caught up into that stuff right now going for that 3rd chip.. I would get annoyed too, I would entertain it after FA starts. But you can tell Kyrie really wants to team. KD knows the media will get all up on him.

One thing has me thinking... Kyrie wants to come here regardless. KD almost signed with Boston before GS. If Kyrie does sign here, and KD doesn’t buy into teaming, he easily team with KD/AD in Boston which is a better fit imo. I think Kyrie and KD could mesh but KD and AD would dominate. Plus he’s close to NYC and his business, so it wouldn’t be like he’s in GS being that far from it. Boston is a few hours away.

But I do believe we’re the favorites for KD. I think it happens.

Some of these takes are far fetched to put it nicely. Does anyone honestly think either of them were discussing anything to do with FA? They're probably talking about plans after the AS festivities. They can easily have discussions about pairing up in private.

I remember in 09-10 when people started to analyze everything Lebron related including some random commercial he was in that had knick colors and people were trying to connect the dots when there weren't any.

I'm actually under the pretense that we're the favorites to land both of those guys but unlike in 2010, I'm not going into it with a sense of entitlement this time. If they don't come, it's no big deal since we have a nice youth movement in place, tons of money and a bunch of draft picks in the near future.

the screws were infected (common) and he had surgery last season to remove them.

none of the injuries you listed are major or even comparable to amare’s degenerative knees so you have no point.

I’m terrified that kyrie bruised his hip in 2017

pull up curry’s injury history up too

Orlando has some nice young players in J.Isaac, A.Gordon, M.Bamba and if M.Fultz can get his confidence back then could have something going.

Return to New York Knicks
