I understand that Fournier has had his struggles in the post season with Orlando but he was actually one of the better players on Boston who showed up vs BK. 16 PPG on 44% 3PT shooting on 6.5 attempts. You can literally pencil in EF for 18-3-3 on 40% 3PT on impressive volume and unlike Bullock he can actually create for himself and in the P&R and is a willing slasher/cutter.
It’s Dennis Schroder that’s causing me to have a mental breakdown. Again this is the same player since 2016. I legitimately can’t think of one area he’s gotten better at. I am willing to admit he’s gotten better defensively but there is no reason to give him the keys when he’s turning 28.
If this front office even thinks they have a 1% chance at Dame or the likes of signing LaVine Beal or Sexton how can Leon and Co be okay with Dennis at over $20 mill per year. That won’t be an easy contract to simply trade away.
The guy would be a dynamite 6th man. Why pay him like he’s a star PG. We don’t wanna be saddled with that.
The sad thing is that while I agree Shroder is better suited as a bench PG he’d still probably be our best PG since Marbury, that’s how bad it is
It’s frightening how true that is. The fact that we brought in Spida Mitch for TWO workouts and still chose Frank as well as drafting Knox over his superior teammate in SGA and Obi over Halliburton means we deserve Schroder.
Thank you for this clarity. I needed it.
