-Mitch is the pretty much the same player he was his rookie year
-Obi can't crack more than 15mpg as a #8 pick
-McBride has always been a defensive pest and rn he's shooting under 30%
-Sims is the same player he was in college: rebounds and dunks
Kenny did an amazing job in Brooklyn. that roster was a bunch of cast-offs and no-names that he improved every year. guys like Joe Harris, Spencer Dinwiddie....those were G-league players before Kenny and now they are solid, well-paid NBA starters
And with all that talent they barely made the 8th seed in the weak East
If you giving Kenny all that credit than you should also give credit to Thibs for making Randle 2nd team All-NBA, since both Dinwiddie and Harris have been terrible as well this year.
If Kenny was a good coach he’d still be coaching. There is no chance he would do a better job with this roster than Thibs has.

What makes you think that the FO wants Kemba to sit? Kemba is one of the few players on the roster that can create for himself and for others. Thibs benched him and Kemba played himself back in the rotation but management didn’t bring him in and then trade for another guy so that Thibs doesn’t play the guy they brought in.
Has to be more than this trade because there’s too many people in the rotation.

No no, I think Thibs wants to sit Kemba while Dolan wants to feature Kemba. I’ll take it one further with my tinfoil hat to accuse Thibs of intentionally overplaying Kemba so he’d get hurt.
