Herro, Robinson and Tucker and FRPs for Mitchell??

Robinson, Tucker and late 1st round picks? Lmao
Not laughing at your offer. Laughing at the fact that the Heat don’t have much to offer outside of Herro unless Bam is in the deal.

He must be. Why would the FO ask RJ about Cam but not even ensure that he’d even have a spot in Thibs’ rotation? Especially trading for a player that complained about lack of playing time, and lack of role in the offense.

Maybe it’s just another power play to convince management/ownership that it’s okay to bench Kemba.

Thibs sure as sh*t ain’t benching DRose or Burks. Luckily, I don’t think this squad ever gets to full health. If no more trades, I think Thibs rolls with:

Mitch/Noel (Taj)
Randle/Obi
RJ/Cam
Fournier/IQ
Burks/Rose

“Situational”—Kemba and Grimes.

If Dolan forces Kemba, I bet Thibs benches Cam out of spite.

What makes you think that the FO wants Kemba to sit? Kemba is one of the few players on the roster that can create for himself and for others. Thibs benched him and Kemba played himself back in the rotation but management didn’t bring him in and then trade for another guy so that Thibs doesn’t play the guy they brought in.

Has to be more than this trade because there’s too many people in the rotation.

RJ, IQ, Grimes, Mitch, Obi, Sims, Deuce all look like legit players under Thibs. Even Knox looked better

Who did Kenny develop? D'Angelo Russell and Caris Levert who Twolves/Pacers fans can’t wait to get rid of or Jarret Allen who is finally playing his best basketball after being traded to the Cavs.

-You can make the argument that RJ and IQ regressed this year (yes, I know RJ has balled the past 5ish games)

-Grimes is solid but you think Thibs is the reason his jumper is wet? nah, that why we drafted him

-Mitch is the pretty much the same player he was his rookie year

-Obi can't crack more than 15mpg as a #8 pick

-McBride has always been a defensive pest and rn he's shooting under 30%

-Sims is the same player he was in college: rebounds and dunks

Kenny did an amazing job in Brooklyn. that roster was a bunch of cast-offs and no-names that he improved every year. guys like Joe Harris, Spencer Dinwiddie....those were G-league players before Kenny and now they are solid, well-paid NBA starters

And with all that talent they barely made the 8th seed in the weak East

If you giving Kenny all that credit than you should also give credit to Thibs for making Randle 2nd team All-NBA, since both Dinwiddie and Harris have been terrible as well this year.

If Kenny was a good coach he’d still be coaching. There is no chance he would do a better job with this roster than Thibs has.

Thibs is a better win now coach. Kenny is a guy you’d hope would have a longer leash with the young guys and implement a style that will aid in their development and not sacrifice it for short term success.

No no, I think Thibs wants to sit Kemba while Dolan wants to feature Kemba. I’ll take it one further with my tinfoil hat to accuse Thibs of intentionally overplaying Kemba so he’d get hurt.

Thibs doesn’t want Kemba.

Thibs doesn’t want Kemba. My guess is he’s ambivalent on Cam, but definitely 100% prefers Burks over either of them.

Trading Grimes to me seems unfortunately likely. That'll be depressing, I love this kid.

Send Randle to Atlanta. We can take picks. I hear they have a protected Charlotte pick.

My two cents, respectfully, is you're imagining a tug of war but nobody is at the other end of the rope. I don't think Dolan is pulling strings. Do you think Dolan even knows or cares who Cam Reddish is?

Cam has more offensive weapons in his arsenal though. I hope our coaches help him know which ones to use in any given situation.

I think there is an auction for Myles Turner going on. This Front Office does not like to overpay in trades (at least for a no-star player).

What do you guys think about Nurkic and Bamba? They will be FA next year and might be available.

I mean Thibs isn’t the guy to fix someone’s offensive game. I’m more surprised you’d say that since you’re very critical of him.
