People on the GB talk about him being a 90s style big and it makes me want to kick a puppy. All of the great bigs of that era were all time defenders. Pat, Hakeem, DRob, Mourning, Shaq (when he wanted to), Mutombo. Even Daugherty was decent. Where were these shittu defender bigs everyone keeps talking about?

I thought the trade was stupid when it happened and I still think Randle would have been a better return because at least he could play well in an fast uptempo offense.

To the Kings fans credit they were sick at first and then went into the denial cycle that led to false hope.

To be fair...I'm of the belief that Mitchell would have fit better with Brunson than he'll wind up fitting with Garland. This isn't me saying Brunson is better than Garland, this is me saying he'd probably fit better with Mitchell....offensively at least.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

People schit on Danny but the reality is that he is a damn good GM/president. I always respected how he ran a franchise. Its like his own unique style and he dont give a fuccck.

He knows draft talent....knows how to trade players at the highest value...and can spot a good coach.

Dude is official. people schit on him to much. If we had ainge we would be straight for a decade +

He's a really good executive. The one knock is he may have held his chips too long and won a title a few years back but would have missed out on the long term pairing of Tatum and Brown. And I disagree that he's concerned with a tank interruption like others think. His whole MO is to get other team's picks while building a decent team. If the players he received lead to winning he's golden.

I'm glad we didn't trade with him. Even though we've got a few bullets left to dodge we dodged one there.

If we'd done it we would have repeated the unsatisfying spectacle of our lead scorer going for the scoring championship while the team burns to the ground. Been there, done that.

I understand some people would prefer to watch one stud even if the team was gutted to get them, but it does not work if you really want to build a contender.

We should have multiple shots at a big upgrade this next 1-2 seasons. By then we will have developed enough strong rotation players hardened to do playoff battles by then and have a team worth joining.

One thing I don't see anyone saying is we gave up NOTHING to get Brunson. And that can also happen again. Not every upgrade will cost the whole piggy bank.

Lauri has looked strong, also impressed by Walker Kessler off the bench. He was supposed to be the 5th best center (?), but he’s been more productive than pretty much the rest of the rest of the center draft class. Cleveland looking quite solid, those Wenbanyama dreams fading… fading…

It’s 3 games lol.

Hey, if we can’t extrapolate off small sample sizes, there is literally nothing to talk about :)

Why not Mitchell is at his best when focused on scoring, Garland can do the playmaking and they will be covered on D by twin towers

It's the worst trade in recent memory. Possibly the worst trade since the first Harden trade and the Billy King special.

I hate the Kings for what they have done to what was once one of the most fun franchises in the NBA.

Not even close. Kings sucked with Haliburton and the Pacers suck with him now. Sabonis is nothing special and he’s definitely weak defensively but Haliburton stinks on defense too and no matter what direction the Kings took they would have still sucked like the Pacers do now. That trade was a wash.

But if we are talking worst trades this one might be the worst we’ve seen

If Le'GM really been the driving force to get Westbrook to the Lakers, than he deserves all the blame. Waschington would have never thought that they get something usefull for him!

Good night choosen one!

- Fun to root against Lebron again, now that Melo is no longer with the Lakers
- speaking of... damn could the Lakers use Melos shooting right now
- I **** love Dame Time. what a baller.
- Westbrook is maybe the biggest desaster of a former star I've ever seen.
