We need to go get Middleton!! His impact on the court is not necessarily shown on the stat sheet but he has the perfect game to compliment Melo and the triangle. He will be our PJax Ariza here..

I really cannot complain of a lineup that is Galloway/Middleton/Melo/Monroe/KAT

Balanced Offense and Defense.

Just messing around with ideas out of boredom.

After the draft:

Rockets get - Ty Lawson & Carmelo Anthony
Change of stars.

Nuggets get - Tim Hardaway Jr., Pablo Prigioni (decline option) & TPE
Cap relief.

Kings get - Jose Calderon, K. Papanikolaou & draft rights to our #1 pick
Trades disgruntled star for #1 pick building block

Knicks get - James Harden, Demarcus Cousins & Trevor Ariza
Lose only $7.1M in cap space & adds 2 building blocks under the age of 26. New Shaq & Kobe, plus we would have enough to sign a player like LaMarcus Aldridge.

Galloway
Harden
Ariza
Aldridge
Cousins

Championship next year. Your welcome. Lol

There's absolutely no way that we're trading Melo. Phil loves him in the triangle, and Melo loves it in NY.

Secondly, we don't have our 2016 pick (unprotected  ) because we traded it for that stupid Pasta Tampon guy, so it would be pretty dumb to completely rebuild.

There is a good article in the Wall St. Journal that describes Okafor in terms of his value to the Knicks as a draft pick. It lays out all his plusses and minuses, and sums up the pros and cons well. http://www.wsj.com/articles/should-jahl ... is+herring

Glad you had fun with that! haha but yea, no way Kings are doing that. The thing with older execs and older coaches is they are not big into taking a big step back. Karl will either make Cousins work for him OR trade him for another star-level player.

Okafor is an ideal player to land here, and would be more perfect if we had a compliment-type guy next to him (serge Ibaka for example). The thing that is the most scary about Okafor is that he is not athletic and that is usually a recipe for "bust" or at least "underwhelming" I think its fair to assess him offensively like Tim Duncan and defensively like ... Jason Smith

I hate when people say he's not athletic, the dude is very athletic from what I've seen. Stop acting like he's slow like Greg Monroe and Al Jefferson. He is not.

Glenn Robinson III was just waived by the Wolves. Would love to pick him up and see what he's got these last 20 games.

Jason Smith and Tim Duncan are both not big plodding big men like the ones you mentioned... Those were my comparisons.

Found interesting tweets and would like someone to enlighten me more on what NYK's full plan was from 10/11 to now:

[tweet]https://twitter.com/FisolaNYDN/status/573659056931536896[/tweet]

[tweet]https://twitter.com/FisolaNYDN/status/573656836546641920[/tweet]
(Basically, I already knew about the second tweet, they wanted to wait until FA to get Melo without losing Gallo, Wilson, Timofey, etc. But I heard two conflicting stories: Melo didn't want to wait and Dolan took over, maybe both are true?)
