we are not in position to not take BPA. if we're picking 4 or 5 and that's garland, you gotta take him if you plan on keeping the pick.

I’ve said that already. You take Ja also if he’s the BPA. Garland is not worthy to me to take in the top 5 tho like most mocks have him in a lower range. But if the Knicks think he is the BPA then go for it. But I also see him getting traded if Kyrie is coming. Along with Frank and DSJ. Highly doubt the Knicks will keep Kyrie and Garland. Same with Kyrie and Ja/DSJ.

why are you creating a scenario where you can't have garland/ja with kyrie?

they can be an elite 6th man, remember james harden?

Because we already have a 6th man with Trier.

And Darius Garland is not James Harden. Wtf

I’ll sig bet anyone here that the Knicks won’t have Kyrie and Garland together on the roster. That’s simply unrealistic

Not really. There’s like a 1% chance of them being together on the roster. This is a pipe dream. Sig bet or nah

nobody is arguing about what will happen. that’s an argument you’re manufacturing. they’re arguing what they would do based on their varying opinions of the different prospects.

in the case of garland just because some here value him higher then consensus doesn’t mean they believe the knicks front office will feel the same way. at the end of the day nothing is in our control so what you’re trying to prove is pointless.

If it not happening then why make a bunch of pointless arguments calling for Garland to be a Knick? That’s a bunch of wasted type strokes and time on a pipe dream. This ain’t no argument to me. If you not bout it for a sig bet then don’t quote me with pointless BS.

actually it's more unrealistic as a knick, because on another team we never saw him everyday and only when he'd do something highlight reel worthy.

as a knick we see dsj as a player that doesn't want to orchestrate first, score second. he doesn't take criticism well at all(got upset for knicks calling him out of shape), and doesn't have a jump shot and probably won't because in addition to a hitch he also has bad mechanics all around.

and now the cherry on top is he has a bad back.

dsj is damaged goods, and isn't really all that good other than a rim rocking dunk that at the end of the day is only 2 points.

Dennis Smith doesn't have bad shooting mechanics..... The hitch only really shows itself on the free throws. He's a good spot up shooter bad off the dribble. He has a balance issue more than an actual shooting mechanic issue.

stop.

his lower base is never squared.

he also tends to lean forward, he's never balanced when he shoots.

i'm just saying if the knicks draft garland, they're going to keep him and not trade him. because you can have both, it's not one or the other no matter how pathetically you're trying making to make it be.
