His shooting is a shocker to me I didn’t expect him to be shooting 39% from 3 on the season especially not during his rookie year.

the thing with Ja

1/ people hated that he was at a small school

2/ people hated his lack of awareness/commitment on defense (until they saw LaMelo)

Rim running is where Wiseman would get his efficiencies and high PER numbers but he is someone who could post up no doubt about that. Seems to have already gotten an unstoppable go to move with his fadeaway jumper, which will be difficult to block given his wingspan.

And no I don’t think Mitch can bang better. Again I like Mitch but come playoff time I really believe people will see that his skill set is not a minor upgrade.

Just my views. Sorry not sorry LOL.

Odds are I’d be with you guys rooting against him anyway if he lands in another team.

I've seen the fabled fadeaway and I've seen him make it, I just don't think he's going to be making it at the clip of a Dirk Nowitzki or a Melo, so while it looks good in theory in practice it's probably going to amount to a low percentage bad shot most the time. I question his shot selection and efficiency with that shot. I'm not even rooting against him, I wish him all the best and hope he has a good career, I just think the Knicks would be better served taking someone else. Maybe I'll end up wrong about it, idk.

He seemed pretty efficient with it in college. But one thing we can agree on is that it sucks that the NCAA did him dirty. We have such a small sample size to go on. I don't even think it's fair to use his high school stats because it doesn't mean much. Especially with him playing a much better motor now.

Cole Anthony was super efficient in high school but now is very inefficient in college. It just shows how meaningless high school data can be.

At least we'll have draft workout vids..

Yeah LOL I was confident though that Wiseman would erase some of the doubts here if we had seen him more. That guy has that drive to improve his game and I have no doubt he would be looking great by draft workout time.

I noticed his stats have been low too. I saw that last game he put up just 9 points. Tbh, I am biased and I still want him. Only cause of the flashes he's shown. Lol

Edwards gonna be one of them guys who is way better in the NBA than in college.

Haliburton is a throwback player. Would love to acquire another pick to nab him along with our high lottery pick.

Have to admit I’m a bit disappointed in Edwards. It was us that were pushing him and Wiseman as early as a year ago LOL in terms of liking the 2020 draft class.

I had expected him to be putting up KD-like stats in college but that was unfair. Ant-Man hasn’t pulled himself away from other guard prospects in this draft class but I’d still want him if we landed a Top 2 pick.

I think this can be argued for every other top prospect in this draft class LOL.

Yeah i was and am i huge Ja fan and wanted him badly in last years draft. People stank all over T.Young and L.Doncic in their draft to. I was also one of the few that wanted SGA in the K.Knox draft. Damn i missed my calling.

I ran the SGA bandwagon in 2018 so I feel you 100% man.

Haliburton's whole game is unorthodox but effective. Dude's shot has the quickest release out of anyone in the lottery and he is very accurate. Dude floats the skip pass over the top of the defense better than anyone I've seen. There will be an adjustment due to the size/length/speed of NBA defenders so he'll have to start putting a lil mustard on those passes. But he is the real deal.

haliburton didn't play in the last game due to wrist soreness and iowa state lost at home to 1-9 florida a&m so that shows what he's working with

Been watching his videos all morning. His ability to find the cutter and keep the ball moving is impressive, along with his BBIQ. Right now the only thing LaMelo has over him is handles. if we slip I’ll be happy if he’s the pick.

I’m even hoping he kind of hoping he fall out the lottery and we can grab him with another pick.

I could see it ending up being between nico and cole depending on drafting spot. Maybe we”ll get another 1vs1 private workout to battle it out

I still don't like Ja's reckless game just like I don't like Westbrick's game and he has no ability to play off the ball. Defenses just build a wall and he becomes useless

Son I was the leader of the Antifrankfrooter draft group in 2017.. or co leader with 2010. They're way different. Hayes got a much more advanced handle than Frank. Killian is pulling step back jumpers with ease and hitting dudes with crossovers. He even got a floater in his game and he has more burst to the rim than Frank ever had. He also has better court vision than him. If anything, Hayes is the complete opposite of Frank.

If you want a carbon copy of Frank then your guy is Theo Maledon. Lol

Looks like what Lonzo was supposed to be

Probably doesn't have the potential upside of a Cole/Edwards in terms of scoring, or a LaMelo in terms of age and measurables, but he has great all around skills. I might not even mind taking him if we fall out of the top 5
