You know that Democrats passed a covid relief bill through the House 7 months ago. Mitch McConnell could have negotiated this exact bill and allowed the Congress to read it months ago. He sat on his fat ass and did nothing.

It’s rich that you’re blaming Democrats for this when Pelosi was negotiating with Munchkin months ago. McConnell could have jumped in anytime.

Pelosi has been playing games with the covid bill the entire year trying to put stuff into it the Republicans were never going to pass like removing voter ID and illegal immigration changes in addition to them being like 3 trillion bills where like 200 billion is stimulus. She didn't want a smaller covid bill like the one they just agreed to pass earlier because the goal was to hurt Trump to beat him in the election. She basically admitted this

"That was not a mistake, it was a decision"

tell me about the GOPs insistence on legal shield inclusion..

only thing holding business honest is threat of litigation.. inject a legal shield, assembly pants, packing plants , office will send everyone back to work without any creedance to safety measure additionally smaller business will have no impetus to follow mandates... who wins business owners, owners who will strong employees back to work... people will die but business will run feebily but will run and thier will be zero further assistance & people with underlying health conditions will either have to choose to work & get infected or be out of a job...right now GOP has people and businesses pissed at them and they really want to placate business but Nancy is doing the right thing in stonewalling its inclusion

Yea pardoning murderers and convicted criminals in investigations that have to do with Trump is perfectly normal behavior

It's all very short-sighted as the pardoned will have to testify in anything Trump related when subpoenaed. They waive the self-incrimination shield when they accept a pardon. Accepting the pardon is considered an admission of guilt. None of which will help Trump and his circle.

Trump just punked Mitch and said he wants $2,000 checks.

Sounds like Donnie wants to line MAGA pockets to get more donations while he can.

Well, I hope it happens regardless of motive.

MAGA people are confused about who to hate now.

Do they admit that the GOP clearly didn't give a phuck about them with this insult of a $600 check? Which by the way, it's not even per month. Or do they admit that the resident once again has shown he clearly didn't give a phuck about them and not fight harder to get them a larger amount instead of just via a tweet? They voted for this.

Either way, they should be renamed the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party.

That's the problem with people who spend all of their time consuming conspiracies: everything is so contrived to build up their Us vs. Them fantasies that anyone who dares to deviate from the Us camp is automatically relegated to the Them camp. it is the only way to keep their minds from breaking into irreconcilable pieces.

Who would have thought in 2016 that Rudy was headed to prison in 2021?

It is clearly happening, but I would have never anticipated it back then. What an amazing, horrible four years

Lev Parnas tweeting about this is not a good sign for Rudy. He was one of Rudy's bag men in the attempts to contrive the Ukraine scandal

So yesterday I said SDNY was looking to obtain Rudy's electronic records. Looks like they have a cooperating witness who has already provided some of that dirt

Considering how massive the campaign finance fraud has been, it sounds like Rudy was involved in that too. Between that and FARA violations, he's sounds like he's in big trouble

Between that and Trump giving another speech about the fraud (a shorter version of the one he did in early December) it made me think his move may be tomorrow

I'm not a big fan of Schumer, but I feel Pelosi has been far more resilient in the face of sheer madness than she gets credit for.

She pounced immediately. Bluff called.

I don't see how Mitch can get away from this now. Besides, it is from the printing press. Fiscal prudence is not what the GOP practices so I think they'll agree

That aside, you don't issue 20 pardons in a single day, including 4 pardons to mass murderers serving life sentences, if you think you have even a 5% chance of staying in the WH. That's what you do when you know you're leaving soon.

Common sense

Should run an ad campaign like the classic GOT MILK? ads targeting MAGAs with the question GOT COMMON SENSE?

how a single person in the world would still say Trump is staying in the WH is incredible, but here we are
