That makes a lot of sense. He's clearly trying to do things that he can't do but his physicality would allow him to do if he could do it. Woodchucks and chucking wood, if you will.

I would actually not be surprised if the Knicks make it a competitive season and then find out they have lucked into a top 3 pick.

Ziarie looking like Ingram I still have reservations about him though. FG% is ridiculously low...

His struggles when he was banged up put him in a big hole with his %s & getting pushed around when he attacks the rim is making it harder for him to dig his way out of that hole.

But he has been shooting a lot better these past few weeks that he's been healthy again, especially from 3.

Yeah, still plenty of season to go, but I've really liked his trajectory this season & he's got everything I love in a prospect.

If the lotto gods don't hook us up, I'd be so excited to pair Ziaire with RJ for the next decade.

His upside is ridiculous I can’t even front. Won’t be mad at all if we end up with him as a consolation prize. Could be much worse

Jared Butler w/22 on 8-11, 5-7 from 3, 5 AST's

really nice combo guard prospect, surprised he withdrew from the 2020 draft, but he's made a really strong case for the 1st round now

if we do end up picking in the 8-12 range, I really like Moody and Bouknight

Bouknight has more potential as a 3-level shot creator, but Moody is the superior 3PT shooter and defender

Ziaire certainly has room to grow & is not the finished article...but I've been watching the kid a lot this season & am really high on him. He's making good progress towards that high ceiling he has.

His jumper reminds me Glen Rice.
Silky smooth & high release.
