Also like the potential of Trey Murphy to be a Deandre Hunter-esque type player.

I would love to come out with one of those dudes

At some point we should have a poll of the guys we DON'T want - to see where the next Knox is lurking.

Kinda reminds me of when Donnie Walsh zeroed in on Steph Curry and let the whole world know. Or when the NY Giants kindly let Philly know they were zeroed in on Davonte Smith. maybe they should keep their zeroing in to themselves.

Donnie Walsh could have had Steph Curry. Donnie Walsh decided not to trade up for him because he though the price was steep -Kahn, who actually worked with Walsh in Indy- wanted Wilson or Gallo I believe. Donnie Walsh should have done everything in his power to get Mike D'Antoni -Steph Curry- as his point guard.

what I'm trying to say is, **** donnie Walsh.

You don’t think a front office that was willing to trade up for NY born Obi wouldn’t consider trading up for NY Bouknight? Who is way better than Obi? And we have the ammo this time , unlike last draft where we had to draft up the morning of just in case.

I just don’t want to get my hopes up lol

With news of Cleveland exploring a trade of Sexton, how ideal would it be to acquire our PG and SG of the future ...?

I'd prefer to move the 2023 Mavs pick than using both 1sts to move up

they're still in the talent accumulation stage

With the Cavs being very much open to moving Sexton, that kind of leaves an open spot at guard for the draft. They probably take Jalen Green unless he goes 2nd overall. Garland and Green would be a nasty backcourt

I think I'd want Suggs most of all if the Knicks could somehow pull off a trade. I know it's probably wrong because three guys are almost unanimously ahead of him, but I just love his game.

Garland and Suggs would be really nice too. Potentially a better version of the Raptors back court.

Honestly the way they are moving I expect they are open to either Green or Suggs as the pick with Okoro being he third guard off the bench they can use on defense.

Sexton should be cheap. I don’t know how I feel about him on the Knicks but he is gettable.

Gilbert is really a student of the game. He’s one of those guys who can actually break the game down in a way for even casual fans to get what he’s saying

According to his criteria (Suggs absent from offense in the Baylor game final 8 min), Ben Simmons would not have sniffed the top 3 draft picks his year.

Based on recent events maybe he shouldn't have

The knicks might have enough capital to trade up for Bouknight. I say might, because I guy with those gifts in any other draft goes top 5. He might end up a Kawhi, PG, D-Mitch type of steal.

I don't get the obsession with Bouknight. Literally an inefficient scorer who doesn't look for others as you can tell by his 1.8 assts to 2.8 to.

That's not a winning basketball player.

I have no idea who is available when we pick, I can never get a handle on the order but my top 10 I have

Jalen Green, Evan Mobley, Keon Johnson, Josh Giddey, Cade Cunningham, Jared Butler, Jaden Springer, Isaiah Jackson, Corey Kispert, Sharife Cooper.

I am happy if we get one of those guys.

Knicks need to get Charles Bassey in the second round. It's criminal how low this dude is ranked.

Haven't seen any full games on him, so these are just guesses after watching/reading some scouting reports on him:

Yes, he shoots 3s. But his shot is very slow and very inconsistent. How projectable will it be?

And regarding his defense. He's a great rim protector, but how good is he defending in space? And what about PnR coverage, will he be a drop only guy, or will he be able to play a variety of coverages?

I don't have answers to these questions since I haven't seen him play and I don't plan to rewatch any games simply because I'm not really interested in him. But if you're pessimistic regarding the questions, I can see why he's lower rated than his highlight tape may indicate.

If you ask me, we probably can do better with the 32nd pick in the draft. I for example had Bones penciled in as our 2nd round draft choice. Unfortunately that's probably a pipe dream after his combine showing
