There has to be a point where enough is enough and it's time to leave. I get extremely despressed over the team too and yes it really does ruin my day because I only have 2 hobbies, boxing and basketball. So when one of them sucks thats 50% of my fun gone. Just do what I did and continue to be a Knick fan but choose a "sister team" to root for in the meantime. I love basketball and the NBA in general too much to do anything less, i cant just stop watching period.

Leave and go where? JUst because we're used to losing doesn't mean we like it. Supporting the team doesn't always mean supporting everything they do. Also saying you're a KNicks fan gives you a sense of pride because when you tell that to other people, they know your a true basketball fan in general and maybe they can hold a conversation between the two. We've been so bad lately that our bandwagons are empty. Don't jump ship now, you've invested too much time and energy to just give up.

Plus the Knicks made us sign a pre-nup, we leave them and we get nothing in return but heartache and disappointment.

Is there some sort of cryptic message in here, or a patern I am supposed to look for?? I tried reading it backwards and still, nothing...

even if the Wiz end up rescinding the trade, we now KNOW Chicago will, at some point this summer, find a stupid ass GM who would be willing to take on Hinrich's deal to get that 17th pick. Paxson is working on getting Deng's deal shipped out, as well. THEY ARE GOING ALL IN. How can we compete? I know....I KNOW....Donnie is working the lines, but if we can't get anything significant back in a Curry salary dump, it would be pointless. We need a f**king homerun type of deal to cancel out Chicago and Miami's efforts this summer. The question is, are any teams out there willing to help us without assraping us like Houston's GM did to us?

F the Wiz. Cannot believe how dumb they are. Guess we will end up with Lee and Gay and suck for the next 10 years.

I can guess. Fatcessa was going to be talking NBA most of the day today. I haven't been listening, but I get the feeling that he's probably advocating trading away everything we've got left for...something.

The answer the past 2 seasons to that question is no.

Nah, that's not how I read the Tweet. He's saying that the Wiz are probably also getting James Johnson in the deal or something. It's still a stupid move for Wizards. Now they're actually giving the Bulls 2 full maxes and they don't have crap to show for it. Even if Taj is in there, not enough value to create a monster in your conference AND get a bum with a bad contract like Kirk.

They eat $18M for Kirk who they don't need, all to get

17
James Johnson
Taj Gibson

or whatever?

Terrible.

That Bulls/Wizards trade was a very hard punch in the gut, while we were already down, but Im not ready to throw in the towel yet. When you get hit, you get back up. Thats all! Where are our Mods, rallying the troops? You guys are our captains, reassure us man! Anyways, Ill never fold on the Knicks, and I'll believe we are out of the game, when it is over!

Ok people need to calm down. Why are so many acting like Chicago just signed Lebron and Bosh? Take a breathe and take a long nap until August 1st.

Gotta love the Chicago board quoting this thread. Then again who doesn't enjoy a little schadenfreude now and then.

What I don't get is didn't the Wizards have room for one max player? They really think they can't get one single max talent this summer to put alongside John Wall?

I really don't get it either. The Wizards need to rebuild not take on salary for the 17th pick. They could easily get a mid-20s pick without taking a multi-year deal back. -Jitpal

Yes, you never surrender and we're still in much better position to improve the team than we've been in years.

LeBron is a grand slam free agent but there are still homeruns or long triples to be had. We can get better, a lot better than we've been, and I think Donnie will get that done.

And we're entertaining LeBron on July 1. We may even do something (silly maybe) like make Maverick Carter an executive at the Knicks.

It's not over by a LONG shot! Chin up, chest out.

But, this is still the worst trade in the history of trades. Let's just hope that it doesn't affect us.

Even if that was the case, why would they take a pg back? For the 17th pick? What a joke.

We have a winner. It's Lebron or Bust people.

Bulls are making some big moves to try to sign 2 max FA's but at the end of the day I think their coaching situation is going to cost them. Bosh was on ESPN this morning and he had a negative to say about just about every team they asked him about except the Knicks. Needless to say the next week is probably going to be the most exciting week of the NBA offseason.
