one of our core three has to go in this situation. It wouldn't work under the cap, UNLESS Melo signs for slightly less. Chandler would probably be the casualty here, since he's due for a big time payday next offseason. I really don't want to see him go, though. Kid has quietly become my second favorite Knick behind Fields.

Funny how we're currently the 5th seed with one of the youngest teams in the league, yet somehow we still "have no assets." You'd think it would be hard for all 3 of those things to be true.

No assets that interest them and no asserts in general are two different things. We have no assets that interest them and from a Nuggets point of view, that's true.

And don't forget we are currently all those things in spite of also dragging an 11 million dollar anchor aka Eddy "Buffet Buster" Curry

I know you're excited to watch your favorite team on Christmas, but I can't for the life of me figure out a connection between that and this Carmelo thread.

Carmelo =/= Lebron and our depth > the "depth" Miami had. Different situations.

One of the youngest, most exciting teams in the league. We have been playing together for 30 games and the sky is truly the limit. They are are all extremely talented, young players who are becoming greater than the sum of their parts.

But so many people are in such a hurry to break it up.

I like this group, but if there's an opportunity to improve the team, I'd take it. I think we will ultimately get Carmelo without giving up the whole kitamaboodle.

Be real NY fans.

1) Boston, Miami and Orlando will be top 3. Chicago for sure to win Central division meaning regardless of their record they will be nb.4 seed. Then you have Atlanta probably 5(even if they will have better record than chi) and NY as high as 6th. Best case scenario NY finishes 5 and plays chicago.

I think he was entertaining the possibility of the Knicks finishing with a better record than Orlando, with whom we're currently tied. It seems like quite a long shot to me, but we won't really know until we see how their roster changes work out long-term.

So Carmelo Anthony doesn't make this team better?

Have the Nuggets gotten that memo?

Because they've lost all three games they've played without him this past week..
