Forget this obligation to play our stars in the starting line up.

Start the Melo-centric lineup:

Tyson
Jorts
Melo
Douglas
Bibby

Roll with the Amare-centric lineup off the bench:

Jeffries
Amare
Fields
Walker
Shumpert

Whichever lineup is more effective gets crunch time minutes. (Of course some players will be interchangeable because we can't reasonably expect to play 10 guys every game and expect results).

Thats actually not a bad idea bro. it also balances out the bench and gives Amare more room to operate.

not a terrible idea...switch jorts to amare group and jeffires with melos....amare needs 3 point spacers and jorts can body opposing centers

Walker Kessler/Daniel Gafford/Adem Bona

Aaron Nesmith/Josh Hart/Jaime Jaquez
Alex Caruso/Keon Ellis/Justin Champagnie
Steph Curry/Chris Paul/Ryan Rollins

Wait...so it's Melo's fault for making his teammates worse but our rosters stink? Double talk much?

This game was hilarious... again... this is why you don't make such trades, for guys like melo.. News flash.. HE AINT THAT GOOD YALL....

TKF You're better than this, and you're certainly smart enough to realize Melo isn't going to shoot 10-30, if he shot 14-30 we win this game, sorry bro but you're a joke when you make posts like the one above.

I don't care if melo shoots 30-30 he can take him and his washed up DJ wife and go back to denver.... and the sad thing is , denver wouldn't take him back...

No, I am not better than this.. why should I be? all I know is what is happening now and it sucks...

No you dissin the man's wife?

ROFL did he really bench Walker because he said he sucked for a very small sample size after a monster 2nd qtr?

Then how the **** does he allow Walker on a poor night to register 15-20 minutes over Balkman and Novak than?

Man **** this coach.

The refs bailed him out....18 ft's are you kidding me?

While everyone will be mesmorized by his stat line the guy that really killed us was Al Harrington.

Gallo shot 3 Threes FYI. Melo shot 7.

funny how fans call it wild floaters.. LOL... also he actually pulled up and drained a jumper, off the dribble in jeffries face I think.... the refs didn't bail him out.. the knicks did.. over and over, and over again.. lets face it, if you are a talented and smart player, you can own the knicks.. Gallo is both, which is why I loved his game so much.. he did this to other teams as well when he was with the knicks.... his game allowed amare to do his thing without interruption, allowed fields to do his thing... to try to knock his game now is crazy... I would love to have those wild floaters back on this team right now..

Fellas, no disrespect, and not to all, but pull your skirt down! I am sick and tired of all the Gallo vs Melo talk. Denver vs. knicks. If you hate the trade soo much that you have to talk about it every single second of your life then please hand in your knick fan card and go over to the damn denver board.

No problem with voicing your opinion about how the team suck, but to constantly comparing us to another team is very annoying.

Now, with that said, I believe in Melo and this team, and will hold judgement until the end of the season. But, Melo has been awful this past few games, however i contribute you this to the wrist (shots are short) and frustration. He need to watch film, work on ball movement and clear his head.

We won that game btw, Gallo drew an offensive foul on Melo to seal the deal...

no that was the game later in the season

the 1st game was the game that made us 3-8

You're the one changing the subject so I'm gonna do the same. The argument was that it's a players' league and coaches can't go hard at players. Then you made a list of potential candidates that wouldn't bend over to players. Refuted the claim for the first guy on your list and all of a sudden we're talking about championships? That's not even what we're talking about. You're just posting and posting whether off-subject or not trying to win any argument. Only reason you'd win that argument is cause you can go harder at me that I can at you cause you'd just flag me when you have no retort.

So D'antoni really wasn't watching the game at all when Billy was out there.
