I know right, everything is melo's fault. People make it seem that if anything goes wrong it is melo's fault. The way people blame melo im surprised they arent blaming him for Shump's ACL tear and Lin's knee problem last year. If you feel melo is that much of a burden on this organization the door is right in front of you. But guess what we are stuck with him, the least you can do is make him feel welcomed. thats nonsense. melo has given his opinion on moves the knicks should make or players they should draft, and the knicks always ignore him.

he wanted the knicks to draft selby in the first round... they drafted shumpert instead... then bought a pick in the 2nd round and selby was still there! and they drafted jorts lol

let's not pretend like melo is making decisions behind the scenes. he may give input on what he thinks they should do, but the gm does what he thinks is best.

What's wrong with what I said? The fact that I believe Lin has potential? The fact that Melo is overrated as hell? The fact that the Knicks do whatever Melo tells them to do? They all seem right to me.

dantoni got fired because the Knicks had one of the worst records in the league and team history during his tenure. Hes an awful gimmick coach I think we all realize that. Lin does have potential but do declare he will be better then an All Nba, All Star, Olympian, 9 year vet based off of 25 games is crazy. In fact its linsane

Yeah Lin will be better than that player, big deal if Melo accomplished all of that. It doesn't determine how good of a player he is and Lin will eventually be better than him. Melo is like what? A top 20-25 player in the league? Lin could easily be top 20-25 in the league someday and he probably will be in two years.

Ownership is trying to appease its pocketbook not Melo. ITS A BUSINESS. Dolan will absolutely keep Lin if he feels that its profitable to do so. Period. Move on.

This thought process is incredibly stupid.

The Knicks never made Lin an offer. They wanted him to sign a contract and he did. Believing something Berman said in the Post (which nobody else has reported) over actual facts is a joke.

The 4 yr 28 million offer was reported by everyone. Lin was the one who went back and asked for more money, and did so without informing the Knicks. That's what the problem is. Berman wasn't the only one who said Lin wanted more money either.
