I have to think Machado's eventually going to take that spot from TD.

So far, I think the discussion has been alright.

Fair enough.

Lin is mediocre as HELL

to think we had a FORUM MOD and a respected poster in Clyde leave the board over this overhyped glorified role player. Think about this....Dolan is always willing to open his checkbook and blow millions on guys who aren't worth it. Or are worth it. If he chooses NOT to pay someone, there's gotta be something really wrong with that scenario. Fat boy Dolan did us a favor and decided to be stingy for once.

It's one thing to be out of synch on offense, but if you let your guy slip behind you on a give and go for a layup, you need to sit for spell.

Trend from last year continues for Lin. Good vs bad teams, bad vs good teams.

He's even worse in the 2nd quarter. He had a few sequences so bad that you couldn't help but laugh.

Lin can't seem to get a rhythm right now. The offense has run through Asik a lot and Delfino constantly wants the ball too, so Lin's gotten a bit off his rhythm and is less controlled...growing pains, he'll be fine.

i'm surprised his rehab is not progressing as well.... I would have thought this would be an issue with us because our medical staff is complete doodoo, but I'd figure Houston may have tried to expose our problems early in the summer and changed/checked up on his rehab. Bizarre.

Maybe offensively, but defensively Parker tore his ass up.

I'm pretty sure Shumpert defended Parker and Amar'e was terrible defending the pick and roll.

Exactly, wtf @ Lin having a good game against SA last year. Parker clowned his ass all game and use his face for toilet paper. Dudes look at the box score and say "well he had a good stat line, its Melos fault."

They put Shump on Tony because he was treating Lin like a traffic cone.

Honestly, guys, you're arguing about a random game from last season that doesn't matter. Let's talk Houston/Spurs right now or current events please.

As far as the stat line, I remember Lin stat padded at the end of that Spurs game. He chucked a bunch of shots that went in after the game was already decided.

lol, I'm gonna stop after this, but Shumpert started on Parker from the beginning, and Parker got most of his points of pick and rolls that Amar'e couldn't defend. You're the one that's looking at stat lines.
