Anybody know if Breen is doing the game tonight on MSG?
If not who are the announcers? And what about TNT who is announcing the game there?

Mike Breen has a bias toward certain players, especially when they play for the Knicks. In recent years, players he has liked when they were on the Knicks: Kurt Thomas, Jeremy Lin, David Lee, Channing Frye...and he loved D'Antoni as a coach.

Pretty much everyone else, he hated!

Breen was great tonight. Im sure he's heard whispers on how he calls Knicks games. There was a discussion of the on the Stephen A Smith and Ryan Ruocco show. He fixed his problems. A true pro.

I watched MSG just to see the intros and once the game started I switched to TNT so I don't have to hear Breen.

It was a few weeks ago. A caller complained and a quite a few followed. Stephen A. didnt want Breen's name sullied but he kind of gave credence to the complaints. Ruocco didnt want to hear none of it and kept shutting it down. Ruocco protecting his colleague ad Fordham idol. But that conversation was out there.

Yeah, I noticed when the Celtics cut the lead to 9 he tempered his enthusiasm and didn't spew his usual "and just like that!" catch phrase. Overall he did a good job tonight.

All the hate on Breen when in reality, JEFF VAN GUNDY is the man with deep down Knicks hatred. The way he called the game against the Knicks tonight? Was pathetic. Deep down inside, he couldn't get it done with a stacked Knicks roster (hand-given) and therefor, secretly calls games against the Knicks. No question about it. His announcing was totally against NY tonight. JVG is the real creep.

Nah, I truly can not stand Breen. I by no means want homer announcers--but having to deal with someone who's in ectsasy for other teams' runs makes for a pretty miserable experience.

Agree with everything except Breen being the best. Marv is the best followed by Kevin Harlan. But Jeff is always more than fair to the Knicks when he would be within his rights to hold a grudge.
