Plus even the rumors of the Knicks being involved shows there is merit to this bc you are right..if this was NBA 2k14 the Knicks have nothing close to offer...but I believe Rondo may do a Melo... hoping

The point is "moot". But yeah, excellent point. The Kings aren't going to get involved without a guarantee from Rondo and what's the chances he will give them one? To team up with Cousins? In cow country?

I don't think that is a smart move from him in a basketball sense or a professional one.

No, they really cannot.

firstly melo aint going there and we both know it, and why go there and make nearly 10 mil a season less?

Lets break this down....

Smoove makes almost 13 mil

Rondo makes 13 mil.

Greg monroe is due for a new deal next season and wont be taking merely the QO...I'll be cheap and peg him at 10 mil.

Thats 36 mil between three players....not including cap holds and the other guys under contract.

They dont have what you think they do.

And they cant trade any draft picks because they have to pay one the the Bobcats for Ben Gordon and they havent paid that yet.

Should have added Tyson too.

Seriously that lineup is so weak. The bench is even worse.

Knicks just need to rebuild in 2015. I have no hope that anything will actually come to fruition at that point but it's better than any other alternatives. We've traded too many picks and young players already. It's time to end that. Hardaway Jr can't be traded.
