Looks like Phil can work miracles. Won't miss JR at all. Shumpert had potential but never fulfilled it, although injuries did play a part.

Not sure that clearing cap space this year will bring benefits to us as I don't think we are getting any of the top free agents, but hey it doesn't hurt to try and ergot JR out of here. Good move.

Giving up an asset to move a contract is not a miracle. it's standard NBA business.

I'm good with Cle getting some real burn, and this is where we see what kind of player THJ will be. While not the most likely outcome, he could be a pretty good player by the end of the year if we give him 35 minutes a night.

I would have moved Shumpert for a draft pick - you could always use that pick to move JR but if you dont need the space or there's a cheaper way to move him you still have the pick.
