We're about to go on a huge run.
KP/Melo/Lee/Holiday/Rose > Chandler/Melo/JR/Pablo/Felton
So is today an ECF day Jason?
What's Chris Copeland doing nowadays? He can help backup KP at the 5.
We would have been in the ECF if Woodson played him instead of Tyson

Heyyyyy Yuri. How bout them knicks huh. Did you enjoy the game?

I wish we could trade Melo now and not have to watch him for three more years, but when he plays well I'll compliment him for a job well done

That will be our new death lineup. We keep the game close with Noah in there and then unleash the hounds at the end of the 2nd and 4th quarters.
They can't bench Noah because he makes $72M for the next 4 years. We probably should have gotten someone younger and cheaper if all we needed was a punching bag for opposing centers to preserve KP. It is what it is.

I wish folks weren't so proud to make such statements. Why are you acting as if it's some badge of honor to support your players when they're doing well and abandoning ship at the first dark cloud?

The emotion of pride doesn't enter into it. It is no more honorable to get flustered at every criticism than to make a criticism so honor has nothing to do with it either. The only cross to bear here is yours. You can choose to get wound up over it or not.
And I'm right here. I didn't abandon the ship. The ship is called the New York Knicks, not the New York Melos. So me not wanting to watch Melo for three more years is me not wanting to watch Melo for three more years. I'll probably still be afflicted with the disease of watching this team whether he is on it or not. I just hope he is off the team before the end of his contract.
My prerogative to feel that way. I don't care if you like it though.

SMAC-K wrote:I can't believe you guys are taking credit away from Justin Holiday, who made all the difference. It wasn't the benching of Noah that was the x factor, it was the hounding defense of Holiday that made all the difference. The way he clamped down on Barnes was magnificent. The Mavs are small and not a physical team, this was a great adjustment from Hornacek. Carmelo abused Mathews in the 2nd half. Our guard play was awful tonight, Rose, Jennings and Courtney Lee all had bad nights.
Porzingis was aggressive and I loved the 6 free throws, been wanting him to earn more trips to the line. I liked how active he was in crashing boards, need more of that from him.
I also liked Maurice NDour. He is an active defender and knows how to make quick rotations and close outs.
But man Justin Holiday was awesome
Ugly first half but I liked the way we came together in the 2nd half and got a much needed win

You think I give a damn what your prerogative is? I didn't ask for your retort. You felt the need to spread your fair weather fandom.
This isn't the New York Kristaps. This is the New York Knicks. I'm an fan of the name on the of the front of the jersey. That's why I support my team's main players in good times and bad.
It's a novel concept. Try it sometime
